Working with Marie Fritz from By Design was a positive experience from the very beginning – her professional approach coupled with her energy and enthusiasm led to the sale of our house being agreed within just 2 weeks of launch. She kept us informed throughout the sale, being quick to respond and always proactive in her approach. Despite the actual sale taking longer than we’d all hoped, we were pleased to have had Marie deal with the sale of our house and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her in the future.

We have just completed our purchase from Marie and she was great to deal with. Really good levels of communication in a manner and form that was easy for us. She was always available and offered a good balance.

Marie is what an estate agent should be! She is professional and highly skilled but more than that she truly cares about her clients. Our experience with Marie has been terrific. She understands the market and takes responsibility to get your property sold. Other agents spend too much time rationalising as to reasons why a property is not selling. Marie just gets it done. I would be delighted to recommend Marie to anyone and next time we move it will be with Marie at the helm again.

Both Marie and Kirsten have been excellent regarding the sale of our house. I cannot imagine any other estate agent who would been able to support us in the same way, particularly as aspects were quite tricky requiring them to chase the buyers on our behalf, on multiple occasions. Their marketing process also was second to none with use of videos and social media, such that our house sold within the week. Cannot thank them both enough

There is no doubt, the sale was a challenge with our property being somewhat niche and listed. The agent, Marie Fritz stuck to the task with unbelievable enthusiasm throughout a prolonged sale process. Marie was tenacious and so organised in bringing solicitors buyers and sellers together once a sale was agreed. I purchased via Marie at By Design (Northamptonshire) it is fair to say she did an outstanding job of navigating a turbulent purchase, negotiation and completion's process. Due to personal circumstance and the queries process my views on the property, changed from time to time and Marie managed to complexities and the smorgasbord of my emotions. No one should look any further than Alia if they require an estate agent in Leicestershire. I asked Alia to act as my agent about 6 months ago. I am on my own and was moving from Leicestershire to Gloucestershire. Apart from her excellent video and marketing of my home, where we had many views in the first couple of weeks, she facilitated everything with a view to protecting me from as much stress as she could, and she succeeded! After we'd made the huge mistake of NOT using Marie at By Design the first time around, we finally saw sense and engaged after a painful 12 months with a high street agent. Marie then added insult to injury by booking more viewings in the first week, than we'd seen in the previous 12 months. Maria has been the most charismatic and driven agent we have encountered.
Our home being a country manor had a smaller market due to the price and size but Marie brought such enthusiasm and great sales techniques she was able to sell it for the price we wanted in a timescale that suited us.

Alia was so professional and supportive during the time we marketed our home. She went above and beyond conducting all the viewings and giving constructive feedback. She made this a much easier process while we were facing a difficult time personally and took a lot of the stress away. No hesitation in recommending her

We had asked Alia in just to give us a rough estimate on our house as we wanted to sell it soon. But she surprised us by actually having a ready willing buyer and we essentially had it sold off market in 24 hours.

It was all bit unexpected but a fantastic outcome I would never have believed possible.

This relates to the Cobham franchise. Our rental property was taken on ByDesign a few years ago as part of a transfer from another agent. The service and communication has been astonishingly poor from beginning to end. Emails not answered for weeks or months. Rental Payments suddenly not delivered for up to four months, and then months trying to find out what has happened. And now the office is ghosting all calls, emails and texts chasing a missing deposit for our previous tenants and a missing rental payment for us.

I know very poor reviews can sometimes be seen as just one disaffected customer. But this place is truly dreadful. The rest of the franchise seems professionally run. This one is not and I know from talking to a check out agent that we are not the only former client in this position or a similar position.
