I haven’t received any confirmation emails or any info after setting up my account, I have a listing in review but have also received no information about that. I wasn’t totally sure it had gone for review until I looked at my listings on the app

After the late delivery of an item I no longer needed, my postie advised me to refuse the parcel so Royal Mail could return it to the sender. The lender failed to include a return address, which caused the delay — something entirely outside my control. Despite clear evidence that the fault lay with the courier and lender, By Rotation ignored the facts, blamed me, and charged a late fee. This is unacceptable and unfair — By Rotation need to sort this.

Lender had assured me she’d send on a certain date to arrive in time for my holiday should there be any delays. Ended up posting 3 days later meaning it didn’t arrive in time for my holiday but as it was within the rental date By Rotation didn’t help (despite having evidence the lender would post early for me under and agreement before submitting the rental request). No understanding on the platform end and ended up paying the full price for the rental including shipping and the return fees.

I use ByRotation all the time for wedding and event outfits. It means I can wear lovely clothes for a fraction of the price and I don’t end up filling up my wardrobe with single wear occasion outfits. All my interactions have been great and I would highly recommend

I am a lender with By Rotation and a renter stole my designer shoes with almost £1,000, I have asked By Rotation to step in and they have gave me a BS response that because I didn’t send the purchase receipt on time, they can no longer help with recovering my shoes. Lend your items with them at your own risk. You read such reviews about them and don’t think it will happen to you, until it does, secretly disappointed in by rotation, and I will now be going to the police and small claims court to try and get my shoes or the money back. Very shocking.

I rented a silk Toteme Co-ord from a supposed ‘top lender’! It arrived stained and damaged at a princely sum of £148. Admittedly I was away when it arrived so only opened the package on day 2 of the rental. It was stained and damaged and I was unable to wear it for a planned birthday celebration. The lender refused to refund my money! I wrote an honest review to ensure that no other renters fell foul of this. My review was removed as it was deemed ‘inaccurate’! Please exercise caution when reading reviews on this site as any negative reviews are removed by the app which has an unfair bias in favour of the lender. Outraged not only by the lack of support from byrotation, but the removal of an honest and fair review which served as a warning to any future lenders! BEWARE!!

Just easy to rent and loved the dress so much ghat I didn’t want to send it back!

The platform has loads of great options and the T&Cs are really straightforward. I’ll definitely be renting here again!

Such a great way to reduce clothing waste. Borrowing brand names I wouldn't be able to afford, such a fab idea! You get to have a whole new wardrobe for any event. Very pleased with the ease of it all.

Misleading website. Seller did not bother to send my dress, pretended she posted it. Did not offer any tracking reference as proof which is part of the rules. Now the transaction has been refunded, I cannot leave feedback, which is misleading to other customers. Terrible person she knew it was for a wedding too. The RentalCloset, Jaz Cuggy rudest person ever!

Easy to do and dress was lovely. Only thing that could be better is if return delivery was included in the total rental cost, similar to a vinted type system.
