Bought an extension lead for my telephone. To big to fit phone. Thought all phone retention where the same size.

Ordered items which were shown in stock for next day delivery for important scheduled works. Ordered before next day delivery deadline and order was accepted. Then found out the item was not in stock at all but is ordered direct from another supplier and they couldn’t get it cut! Not sure how someone can’t snip a bit of cable with wire cutters. Frankly appalling to be advertising terms and then showing a complete disregard for the customers expectations and needs. Mostly fine to use for home purchases if you are fine to wait but if you are business and have anything time critical just don’t bother.

I found the prices to be really competitive and the service was very good.

I had a small issue with my order, but Emily M managed to fix everything and showed great goodwill with my future order.

Absolutely astonishing delivery!!!
Ordered a bunch of patch cables and a couple of tools at 16:48 last night (Thursday) and was a little annoyed at myself for not placing the order sooner as they have a cut off of 16:30 for dispatch.
I selected Economy Delivery (1-3 days) so expected to receive my order sometime early next week but at 10:30 Friday morning, my box arrived with everything in perfect condition.
This is way beyond my expectations and I'll not shop anywhere else in future. Product quality is excellent and price is on point too.

Ordered the following item from cablemonkey.co.uk when using a ipad.
8u Connectix Slim Line Home Cabinet

Looking at the price (Add to Basket section) it says, "8u Lockable home cabinet designed to hold up to 8x 1u Panels. This cabinet comes fitted with 1 Shelf. More details"

So, I clicked More Details and it shows a picture with a shelf, 2 x 10" patch panels, 1 x RF Distribution system.

Looking at this, I thought it was good value for money and I ordered it.

What arrived was a cabinet with the RF Distribution unit but no shelf or patch panels. When I called to find out what had happened, I was told the cabinet doesn't come with the patch panels or the RF distribution system. I was told it was meant to come with the shelf though.

Discussed with cablemonkey over the phone, but was told that it was my fault for misinterpreting what was being shown. Strange that the following cabinet and others on the website don't have pictures that show anything else being included. Example: 10u Connectix Home Cabinet

Either way, they are collecting the product back.

What I will say is that the delivery was fast but that is the only positive.

Great service and delivery, its a shame the descriptions on the website are sometimes wrong... and customer services don't bother to reply to you when you tell them.
