4 shutters - very happy customer
I now have 4 shutters from this company - 2 hardwood, 2 faux wood. I'm very happy with both kinds, particularly the waterproof faux wood.
The shutters are great quality and easy to install yourself as long as your own measurements are correct. (Err on the side of leaving a gap so it's not too tight).
Customer service is excellent, packaging and courier service is excellent, quality and volume of components that come with the shutters is excellent. They give you more than you need.
More expensive than buying a blind, but worth every penny. I highly recommend.

This my third order (CS14006) with California Shutters. This order did not disappoint. The measuring tools are useful and there is good customer support to answer any queries. Great quality
Ordered our shutters a few months ago, with a scheduled date of tomorrow,
They turned up today.
Was going to fit them over the weekend but decided couldn't wait any longer, so I opened the boxes to check all parts which were thoroughly protected.
But couldn't find any instructions, but that didn't matter, as everything was marked and was self explanatory.
Everything went together perfectly, only took me about 30mins max to fit.
Will also ad would highly recommend california shutters, not only do they keep you informed, thier customer service is great, they also supply top quality shutters.
I cant praise them enough, and we will be ordering from them again soon.

Bathroom window shutter
Great Shutter. Just got round to fitting to a recessed bathroom window. Sizing was excellent and fitted perfectly. Got some good advice from them (via the chat line on their web site) before ordering which was well worth the time, Very friendly to deal with. Delivery was within the time scale promised.
Based on my experience I would recommend.
Might now consider fitting to a couple more windows.

Poor communication
Disappointed with delivery estimates. Placed two orders and received delivery estimates but had to chase company for updates. Phoned today - Friday, to be told that I might not get a reply until Monday. I accept that delays can occur, but please keep me updated. It shouldn’t be down to the customer to chase their orders. Please be proactive and communicate.
