26/8/25 I took Steve to small claims court and won the case based on extensive evidence provided by myself, other businesses and the text exchanges between Steve and myself.

I’m glad I didn’t give in. Since starting proceedings back in February, it seems he’s improved his service and his Google reviews have increased as a result.

As I’ve learned, always read reviews — the bad as well as the good. I made many attempts to resolve things from the day after the visit, but was ignored until I mentioned court action.

I personally don’t recommend this business. For anyone in a similar situation, I fully recommend the Small Claims Court system — it’s fair and straightforward

Steve sent Tim within 24 hours to tackle my Merc electrics problem. Competent, helpful guy and fixed the problem.

Called him and he said I will sort something out and ring me, He rang back and he had sorted out a chap called Tim will be round He sorted the problem out no problem will use him again great service

My boat engine was extremely problematical, and no-one could fix it. Finally called Steve and he arranged a visit, was prompt, and he expertly and efficiently diagnosed the trouble, found and professionally fitted the replacement parts and the engine now runs like a Swiss Watch. Very fair price too! Thanks Steve
