Complete joke

Complete joke. Bought a pair of trousers that leaked blue stains everywhere on the first wash.

I've also bought shoes form them in the past that broke so fast. Terrible brand. Awful service.

Wrong item

I ordered a pair of black Pelotas Lite but received a pair of Pelotas XLF blue. Customer service even denies it. This must be the worst customer service ever.

Unwearable and Disappointing – Poor Design and No Support

I have been a loyal Camper customer for years and have always appreciated the comfort and quality of their shoes. Unfortunately, this particular pair has been a huge disappointment. The design of the shoe upper causes excessive pressure on the joint at the base of the big toe when walking, resulting in significant pain with every step.
The shoes are simply unwearable for regular use, which is unacceptable for footwear at this price point. Despite reaching out to customer service, my concerns were dismissed, and no resolution was offered.
I expected much better from Camper, both in terms of product design and customer support. I cannot recommend this pair of shoes and will think twice before purchasing from Camper again.

Extremely poor service

Extremely poor service. I purchased two pairs of the same shows and has trouble with one pair making my ankles bleed. I asked to return the unused pair just outside the return window and they refused, depsite the shoes being unworn and brand new. Didnt expect this at all in terms of customer service.

Waiting endlessly for delivery

It has been 3 weeks since I bought sneakers from their website but they have not been shipped yet. Camper is very successful in terms of quality and style but shopping online from Türkiye is very tiring. It takes a long time to be delivered.

Awful quality

Was super excited for the new quitel boots. Recieved them and the quality and quality control is the worst ive ever seen on any boot/shoe covered in glue, dents in the wood and I even have silver writing on the heel. How these were allowed to be sent I have no idea. Thrown into a cardboard box that was ripped with not even any paper in there. You guys need a lesson in presentation and quality control. First ans last purchase going straight back

Absolute rip-off

Ordered shoes and laces, returned the shoes and then noticed that the laces are £5 per lace! Given shoes come in pairs, it seems only reasonable that laces should too. Shocking.

One of the most terrible non existing…

One of the most terrible non existing customer support I ever saw in a brand. They charged me $30 more than shown on the website. I’m waiting for over 1 month now and the tracking tells me it’s delivered and it clearly not. Customer support is impossible to reach and only automated emails are send when I reply on the tracking email. When trying to contact Camper via the website they tell me my phone number and order number are invalid when they are clearly not. I wish I could give zero stars.

Terrible service

I have ordered a pair of boots on 22nd of January. I have been waiting for 1 month now but still I even don’t have a due date for delivery. I can’t also contact to anyone to speak & get support. I tried to send a couple of emails to the given customer support address but no response except for an automated email .. terrible experience. And this the second bad experience with them. I will never buy anything again from them and wouldn’t recommend to anyone else.

The worst shopping experience ever

Camper case number: 1217185
Placed my first order on January 29th, got a shipping notification and tracking number on January 30th, so I waited patiently for the delivery. I saw mhy order moving through the courier network but on the day it was supposed to be delivered status changed to "contact the sender". I reached out to the courier company and was told that there was a security issue with the package. The agent advised to contact the sender and let them know that the should get in touch with the relevant department in the courier company. I then contacted Camper customer service to let them know about this issue. Customer service completely disregarded this message and informed me that my order was shipped on February 4th and that the tracking number will become active once the package goes through customs. Problem is that the only tracking number I have, has been active since January 30th and tells me to contact the sender. They never provided alternative tracking when I asked about it. I contacted them on February 14th again and received a reply on February 17th that they are looking into that. I still haven't received any answers. I wish I checked reviews here before buying from them. Their shoes might be great but the level of customer service is appalling. Please steer clear of this company!

Never again!!!

I bought some BCN ballerinas. They are rock hard, not like the former buttersoft Campers made in Spain. Also they run at least one size small, so I wanted to return them. I contacted customer support and learned that I must pay for the return. Unhappily I acquiesced to this, but printing out a return label was impossible. Again I contacted customer support who promised to get back to me within 48 hours which they didn't. Now I have 200 E shoes which are too small and no way to return them.
PS I managed to get a label which allowed me to return the shoes from the post office. 20€ and two hours later I can say: Never again!

PPS Now I received a message from Camper saying they deducted 10 E for shipping although I shipped at my own cost. This gets worse and worse. Attaching the message below :(

Terrible Customer Service. Refused refund for late shipment.

I ordered a pair of shoes that were needed by a certain date so I paid $14.90 for express shipping. When the shoes did not arrive by the promised date, I contacted Customer Service and was assured that they would refund my shipping fee. The shoes finally arrived six days late. I contacted Customer Service today and was told they would not be able to refund my shipping fee unless I provided them with my bank account number and routing number. The alternative was a voucher which would be issued on the last day of the month that I could use for a future purchase. When I asked if they could simply complete a refund on the credit card I used for the purchase, they said, “we regret to inform you that, unfortunately, we are unable to process a proportional refund in the manner you’ve requested.” The customer service rep I spoke with about this was very, very rude. I was shocked. Not a company that I will purchase from ever again.

Camper customer treatment

Camper, excellent shoes but customer support is awfull. I asked them if that's possible to buy some accesories not listed on website, particularly elastic laces. This is because Polish description on website is wrong (they put elastic lances aganist tied ones). Asked 3 times: by website and twice by e-mail. Every time answering by AI not human. Of course answers don't even touch my questions. It means that nobody read questions. Such customer treatment is disaster. I bought more that 10 pairs but never buy again. Peter

Beware - Camper's Lifetime Guarantee is Misleading (Ticket Number #1224293)

I purchased a pair of Pelotas from the new season and registered them under Camper’s Lifetime Guarantee, expecting the quality and durability that Camper is known for. Unfortunately, this experience has been incredibly disappointing.

Major Issues with the Shoes:

The colour was not as advertised—they were much lighter than expected.

After just two wears, the shoes became significantly discoloured, especially around the creases when walking.

The store manager at Camper Regent Street agreed that the quality was poor and acknowledged that this should not be happening.

Camper’s Refusal to Honor Their Own Guarantee:

Despite the store manager agreeing the quality was not up to standard, my claim was rejected with the reasoning that it was "neither a manufacturing defect nor related to the materials used."

If it’s not a defect or material issue, then what is the cause?

I was not asking for a refund—just an exchange for a different colour from a past collection that had better quality.

I left the shoes in-store for the manager to escalate the issue and raise a dispute, yet Camper still refused to take responsibility.

The manager admitted that Camper sprays the leather to create a "distressed look," on the new line which fades after only two wears. If this is an intentional manufacturing choice, why is Camper not standing behind their product when it fails immediately?

For a £200 pair of shoes, this is unacceptable. The Lifetime Guarantee is a scam—false advertising at best, potentially fraudulent at worst. I have been wearing Pelotas since I was a teenager and have never had issues until now. Looking at other reviews, it’s clear I’m not alone in this experience.

I have gone through multiple avenues to resolve this issue, but Camper has refused to take responsibility. I will be reviewing the legality of their advertising claims, as this is highly misleading. For now, I strongly recommend avoiding Camper. Their quality has dropped significantly, and their so-called "guarantee" means nothing.

They sent me used shoes

They sent me used shoes - the left one considerably more used than the other. I sent several photos. They declared the shoes to be "faulty." I bought them on sale, they told me to return them and they would refund my money. Since I bought them on sale, if I want to buy another pair, I will have to pay almost double the price. In addition to this, I am expected to drive to my nearest post office to send the shoes back to them. At this point it has cost me money to order shoes from camper and I am left with no shoes. They now will not respond to any emails I send regardless of where I send them.

Edit: they contacted me to tell me the exact same information they previously did - essentially providing no solution and demanding I return the shoes. I am really worried that I will not get a refund and/or it will take forever to get my money when I ship these shoes back.

This company is clearly running a scam and getting away with it. Do not buy their shoes.

It was a strange experience

The product is still good, the logistics work fine (very fast delivery), BUT their website works horribly (for example: unable to log into the customer account, many mistakes on product pages and promotions, difficulties with the buying process) and their customer service is a joke (evasive, polite answers without solving the problem). It was a strange experience.

Sent shoes to the wrong place

They sent the shoes to the wrong place in Coimbra instead of the Algarve, refused to contact DHL to send it to the right place 🤷‍♂️ Camper deliberately changed the address to Coimbra for some reason, even though i have screenshots proving i typed in my address.

Claimed that i paid by applepay, (to explain why it got redirected to Coimbra) when i used paypal.

All in all, a bit of a disaster.

I like the shoes, but the customer service is terrible. I'm willing to revise my review, if i just get my shoes 🤷‍♂️

Update: I at the very least got my money back 🙏

Disappointed with Camper’s Customer Service

I’ve been a loyal Camper customer for over a decade, but this recent experience has left me incredibly frustrated.

I accidentally entered the wrong postal code for my order and immediately contacted Camper’s customer service to correct it. They told me it was "too late" because the item had already been shipped. However, when I checked with Yodel (the courier), they hadn’t even received the package yet—this went on from Monday to Thursday. Camper’s response was clearly not based on facts.

When I informed Camper of this, they finally agreed to "inform Yodel" to change the address but stressed that they couldn’t guarantee the update. When I followed up with Yodel again, they had no record of any address change request.

What made matters worse was the robotic, canned responses from Camper’s customer service—every email felt like a copy-paste with no real effort to resolve my issue. As the seller, Camper should take ownership of the customer experience, yet their handling of this situation was careless and frustrating.

I truly appreciate Camper’s products, but their service and operations are disappointing. A brand that prides itself on quality should reflect the same in its customer support. Unfortunately, this experience has made me reconsider my loyalty.
