I recommend the family run Cane and Able Healthcare shop in Hitchin absolutely without reservation. They're Customer Service is really excellent! They are always ready to give expert advice on any disability aid customers require. They are always pleasant and welcoming and happy to listen carefully as you explain your needs, and if your needed aid is not currently in their extensive stock, are always happy to research availability of alternatives. Before selling a mobility scooter, I had it serviced so the new owner would know if there was anything wrong with it. I tried Cane and Able in Hitchin and they came out within 48 hours. This company does a home service so that there is no need to travel to their shop. The person that came out was quick, tidied up after himself and very polite. He pointed out a small number of minor faults that he said would not need to be fixed straight away but in a number of years then they would need looking into.
I have used them again to service my other scooter and again they were quick to respond and very polite. Would recommend them to anyone that needs a service doing and will continue to use them.
