Buyer Beware!!

I recently purchased a canvas art piece from Canvas Castle. The same piece was also available from Amazon in a slightly smaller size.

When it arrived, I was shocked to see it was a rolled up canvass. The one from Amazon was mounted on a frame ready to hang. I was offered a "reduced price" on a "do it yourself" frame that would necessitate I assemble the frame and stretch it out onto the frame. I didn't feel comfortable with attempting that.

I told customer service representative I wanted to return the piece under their stated 30 day return policy. The representative ( CC) was very evasive about the return, even though I told her it was unopened.

After several contentious emails back and forth the representative (cc) gave me an address in NEW ZEALAND ,and said if it didn't arrive in 30 days there would be no refund. I asked why I couldn't send it back to the address on the package? She said that was a USPS distribution center address only and not an option. No other return address was offered besides the New Zealand address.

It is my belief that the 30 return, stated in their advertising, is not a genuine option. Good luck if you choose to buy anything from them; I wont!

Hi Paul. You didn't order the frame so received the print only. For a frame you just select "with frame" when choosing your size. We have offered to send you the frame, and in regards to a return you're welcome to send it to any one of our return addresses and yes these need to eb sent back within 30 days of you receiving the order. The NY address you are talking about is the USPS processing center address - we have told you this. I'm very sorry you aren't thrilled with your purchase and please feel free to reach our again if you decide to return your order or want the frame

Total scam

Total scam. You can look at the five star reviews and see that they are fake. One person gave a five star review because the website was easy to navigate. Lol

They send poor quality prints that are blurry and and have poor color. The DIY frames are cheap and flimsy. They have no customer service phone number (that should tell you all you need to know) and the guy who responds to emails is a clown. Buy from them at your own risk, but if you read this review, you can’t say you weren’t warned.

This guy is unstable. Check out his reviews with the Better Business Bureau.

If anyone from Trust Pilot cares to contact me, I have receipts pictures and screenshots of all of my communications with Mr. Scammer.

Great customer support and product!

I had been looking for a LARGE canvas for my living room wall. The last artwork I bought was laughable on the big, blank wall. Canvas Castle came up on my targeted ads and I was skeptical at first. The prices were cheap. I wanted the largest size available in a beautiful poppy picture, but there was no frame available for that size. It said to email customer service for a custom frame order. I figured that would be a good way to tell if this was a real company with real people or not. Not only did they respond within a day, but they set up a link for me to purchase the frame whenever I was ready. Yall. The frame was shipped with my canvas and you cannot convince me that it was not made a bazillion times before. All the pieces were the precise correct size, unlike when you order furniture online and hope everything lines up correctly or close enough for you to force the piece together. It took me and my husband about an hour to assemble the frame and pin the canvas on it. The link included with the frame did not work, but I was still able to find the tutorial video by searching Canvas Castle on YouTube. I could definitely put another one together much quicker now. I need to print out pictures of my kids to hang on the walls, but I may just keep buying canvases from here instead. 😂

Quirky, Funky, Spirit Lifting

Quirky, funky and sure to lift your spirits every time you see the art on your walls. Guests regularly comment on the great art that has lifted our house to art-gallery levels. So many ask where they are from, and we have no hesitation in recommending Canvas Castle. Every one is a gem.

Waste of money!!!

Waste of money and scam!!!

Cheap flimsy quality wood with no glue. On the sales pages says nothing about DIY frame. Customer service beyond a joke. Avoid avoid avoid!!

I bought a painting and added the frame, but I received a sheet of paper with very bad wood to mount it, and due to the quality, it will look horrible, weak wood, with a bad finish, so I didn't even touch it, I contacted them to return it and buy something better, it's not a serious company, see all the reviews, the problem happens the same, the material is of poor quality, there is no way to return it, and the service is rude, aggressive, humiliating, and you lose your money. Horrible, don't buy it and we have no right to exchange or return it, I will have to seek legal rights, stress! The communication is terrible, rude, humiliating, THEY DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS, you lose what you paid for, the quality is very poor, but the worst is the service, the humiliation, don't buy, I have a headache, the person is arrogant, has no consumer rights, the product is different from the pictures, I warn you, if I had spoken to this person who answered the emails I wouldn't even access the website, it's better to lose the money, HE TOLD ME to give 5 stars, he made me delete the previous review, I thought he would exchange the screen, or accept a return, but he humiliated me. Last response from Castle.com:
“ Cristina, if you have any reading disability, they need to send us an email, we are not qualified to talk to people with your IQ. Do you have a caregiver we can talk to? This is not a company, it must be a scam, crazy, criminals, swearing. Disrespecting the customer, I just wanted my screen like in the picture, or to return this garbage I received.update after complain: “ Cristina no one is going to respect you, we only treat morons disrespectfully. You sadly fall in this category, it's up to you to work hard to gain a level of competence and intelligence that people respect. Take this as a harsh lesson learnt - you now know you're stupid, but you can only go up from here. Read simple books, watch online tutorials, and you can climb out of this “ yes, the email is the same as the answer in the comments

The quality of the print was terrible and customer service is RUDE!

The quality of the print was terrible and we did not want to put it on our walls. There was also an oil stain on the print and the company claimed that the oil stain was part of the image and they were very rude to me.

When I asked for a refund, I was told all sales were final, even with all the issues and offered me another shit replacement product.

Canvas castle is scamming their customers, selling low quality artworks and then running off with the money.

The customer service rep then became extremely rude and said I wasted his valuable time and that it was extremely disappointing for him as apparently the oil stain was meant to be on the picture.

When I wrote this review on trust pilot, I was told to take it down and they would send me a new product if I did. When I told him I would never take it down, he said thanks for the money, it would be better spend on a therapist next time. Just wow!

All the bad reviews are of similar experiences and you can tell that the positive reviews are fake. They need to be shut down!

This is not the right thing to do your customers and I will never shop with them again. It is illegal not to offer your customer a refund in Australia if there is an issue with the product, so I will be reporting this.

Beware what you purchase

Read carefully, frames are for you to put together yourself. Quality of print is not very good. I guess, in the end they don’t technically lie but if you expect to receive something you can directly hang, go to another website.
You can’t return the product unless something happened to the package („all sales are final“). They treat customer service as a joke only telling you to read their website.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE

Ordered a print on the 9th of the Dec. 2024. Here it is the 11th of Jan. 2025 and I still have no print. I have sent several emails and was told it was just processed for delivery, but gotten email updates almost a month ago that the items was on the way. Customer service was super short, dismissive and sarcastic. I have to now dispute this with my bank bc I don't think it will ever arrive.. THEY DON'T OFFER REFUNDS FOR A REASON

Low quality large prints.

Pixelated resolution on large format images. Clearly blown and stretched. Also very dull colors that don’t pop as they do on their website. Low quality prints. Look elsewhere for your decor desires as all sales are final. Which should also serve as a sign to you. Can’t comment on the DIY frame as I just tossed the garbage prints when they denied a refund since I’d prefer not to look at them. They offer replacements but that is pointless.

The prints they sent were blurry and…

The prints they sent were blurry and the wooden DIY frame is garbage. Not worth the money I paid IMO and customer service wasn't helpful.

Their reply below is bogus. I have an email where they are literally insulting me because of this review.
