Having viewed the Corsair Butchers Block online, I visited Adam at his workshop to discuss options to best match the island to my existing kitchen. He was extremely professional and welcoming. I left a sample of my existing kitchen so he could match up the colour and the handles. He even said he would alter the height to match our existing unit tops.
Adam & Kim delivered the unit personally to my house in North Yorkshire. The quality is excellent and a credit to Adam and his team. I certainly will be buying more furniture from Adam in the future.

The butchers block island was an excellent choice, would certainly buy again, the only thing that I didn’t like was the courier, very ignorant and rude. But I would not hold this company responsible for that

My stunningly beautiful bounty larder was delivered today, it’s beautiful, the craftsmanship is out of this world. I cannot recommend Captains Craftwork enough, absolutely amazing!

Excellent quality craftsmanship. Well worth the wait

We bought a Bounty cabinet for our dining kitchen and couldn’t be happier with it. We had to wait a long time for delivery (and delivery delays are now being communicated on their website) but it was well worth the wait.

The cabinet is very solid with a high quality finish. We paid for installation so got a bit of time to chat with Adam while he was putting the cabinet together. He’s clearly passionate about his work and would rather make sure things are done well than rush and have unhappy customers, which is a good thing these days.

Over decades of refurbishing and decorating our homes, we’ve taken numerous risks in relying on craftspeople we didn’t know or who weren’t recommended to us in advance. In our experience, Adam from Captain’s Craftworks is among the best we’ve risked relying upon. Like so many meticulous craftspeople, Adam probably overcommits and overworks. We waited much longer for delivery than we’d expected to do. But, like other 5-star reviewers here, we consider that it was well worth the wait. The kitchen cupboard Adam made for us fits perfectly in our free-standing all-wood kitchen. It’s a beautiful, very well-constructed piece of furniture. If you’re looking for high quality (and good value) furniture, we’d recommend Adam every time. Be prepared to wait several weeks (we waited nearly three months), but expect to be delighted when your furniture arrives. We’re now going to be ordering a bedroom wardrobe, allowing plenty of time for delivery. We’re confident it, too, will be worth the wait.

Our butchers block is all we had hoped it would be. Beautifully made, painted in the colour of our choice and carefully delivered.An item worth waiting for.

An excellent company, offering hand crafted, bespoke furniture. Our larder unit now graces the kitchen. Really good value for money and certainly suits our cottage. We will certainly be returning customers.

Have just taken delivery of this lovely addition to our farmhouse kitchen. Thrilled with the standard of craftmanship. Also appreciate the extras of oil & touch-up paint.

Adams assistance in giving us the kitchen furniture we wanted was superb. He dealt with our requests and queries with patience and, from the minimum of detail given, produced furniture that is simply stunning. I ordered pieces from different ranges but being thoughtful he tweaked them to ensure they all matched. We have received plenty of compliments, so thank you Adam

Excellent experience despite an incompetent Parcelforce delivery. Lovely item. I will buy more. I particulalry like the look of their wardrobe!

I have been looking forward to receiving my kitchen island and it was worth the wait. They did have a slight delay but kept to their revised timescales so can't fault that. I love it! I've added the first coat of oil they provided to the butchers block and it looks wonderful already (they also provided a tiny pot of paint for any future touchups - a nice touch).
It has taken pride of place in my kitchen. Great workmanship would highly recommend.

The product sold was exactly what we were looking for and didn't disappoint once delivered. Would buy again knowing delivery sometimes takes longer than initially stated. Will continue to support this family run business.
