We visited the workshop of Captain's Craftworks and were very impressed with the quality and workmanship of the products. We also much appreciated the advice of staff on size for our proposed island unit.

I wanted a piece of quality furniture for my outside BBQ area, and that would fit snugly in a small space.
I came across captains craftworks online and read their positive reviews. I called Adam (owner) and discussed my requirements. Sure enough he was able to make a bespoke port Isaac kitchen island to size. Four weeks delivery time and well worth the wait. I am incredibly pleased with the kitchen island, its overall quality, and aesthetics.

Absolutely thrilled with my new custom butchers block, was delivered exactly as expected, and fits perfectly in the space in my kitchen and now gives me valuable extra work surface. I bought some custom baskets for it which were designed to fit perfectly on the shelves and now I store my veg there.

I was left some money and used it to buy a Port Royal butcher’s block from Captain’s Craftworks.
To say I am delighted with it would be an understatement.
It’s a beautifully made and sturdy piece of kitchen furniture which will last forever.
It was carefully delivered, with a tin of oil to season the top and instructions for after care. I can’t wait to use it!

Fabulous customer care from start to finish. Was called when my delivery date was due, and in the lead up to the island being delivered. The actual butchers block is stunning, and will absolutely last a lifetime. Worth every penny and I couldn’t be happier.

Having been disappointed by the build quality of butchers block kitchen islands from well know high street retailers we found Captains Craftworks. This week we took delivery of an island in Iris blue and it looks and feels great. Stylish, solid and functional, it’s exactly what we were looking for. Captain’s Craftworks very kindly built a butcher’s block for me with one or two specific alterations to width, height etc so that it would fit perfectly in the space allocated.
Delivery time was as arranged with no delays.
I am delighted with the item. It is beautifully crafted and it looks wonderful in my kitchen. Although it is a butcher’s block I will not be allowing anyone to cut anything on top of such a gorgeous piece of oak!!!!

Butcher's block from Captain's Craftworks that we purchased is an excellent craftsmanship with amazing quality. Although it takes months for delivery, there is a Chinese proverb "Slow work produces fine goods". It is well worth the wait!
