Excellent Products
Have been a customer of Carbonite/Webroot for over 10 years. Their products are outstanding. This time was not able to complete my upcoming purchase because of the timing. Would like the company to consider more flexibility/consolidation when it comes to adding product to the annual billing cycle.

From panic to peace
In January I panicked. Someone who was supposed to be helping solve a printer problem online was not who they appeared to be, and the only way I could be sure that my MacMini had not been compromised was to wipe it clean. Stressful!
But I had Carbonite, and they had come through before, so I proceeded to reconfigure by computer. It worked well and I was actually able to just restore the files and applications I needed, leaving me lots of space and a clean start.
I needed to get some direction from customer service and they were very helpful throughout the process. I highly recommend Carbonite for peace of mind!

Carbonite backups are seamless
Carbonite backups are seamless. No noticeable performance issues while it is backing up. Restoring individual files very easy. If you get a new PC and have to restore EVERYTHING (because the old PC is no longer working in order to copy onto a USB drivve and then restore to the new PC), just be patient. It takes a long time. Run a LAN cable to your router before starting the restore. Your PC probably has a 1 Gb NIC which will be faster than WIFI for the full restores, even if you have 1 Gb WIFI.

It’s wonderful
It’s wonderful! A few years ago my computer died. I would have lost all of my genealogy information but I had Carbonite so the local store recovered everything. I wouldn’t ever be without it. They are the best!!!
