A friend had recommended Carcaptain and they were great. My instructor Gerry was excellent, very easy to get on with, knowledgeable and professional. A great experience and I passed on my first test! I completely recommend them to anyone. Thanks!

I contacted Car Captain asking if they could squeeze an intensive course in for me during my easter holidays. Two weeks later .. First time passed with an incredible instructor called Ravi, who is calm, relaxed and most importantly made me feel confident on the road! Car captain offered a fantastic price and are a great company to go with!! 100% recommend!

Overpriced, terrible customer service

I was quite happy with my instructor, Samir was really helpful and did a great job even though I have failed my first exam.

However, I was really disappointed when I've asked Yolanda to book my second exam and she quoted total price of £225.02 for 3 hours car use and exam fee of £62, apparently charging £79 just to make a booking. It took me 5 mins to book an exam myself.

My advise - book the exam yourself as soon as possible, you can make changes 3 days prior the exam date.
Cut middleman and contact instructors directly. You can find certified instructors from gov.uk find-driving-schools-and-lessons

I called up and was helped by Susan. She booked my extended test that same moment and allocated me to an instructor called Karen. We got along very well and I passed my test after a 3-hour brush-up lesson.

Couldn't be happier with Carcaptain. I paid for the intensive course and did 23 hours over about 8 days. They arranged the theory test, lessons, and practical test. All I had to do was confirm. My instructor, Ade, was very patient and a great tutor - could not have been better. I did the intensive as I didn't want to find the time around work, so I took 2 weeks off to do the course, and passed first time. I will recommend them to anyone who wants to do an intensive course.

I had a great experience with Carcaptain. They were very responsive to my emails, calls and and text messages. I was able to start driving lessons the day after contacting them and passed first time after only 2 weeks of driving. My instructor Safi was extremely profesional and trustworthy, it was a pleasure to learn driving with him. Would highly reccomend for people who have never driven before, the instructor takes a step by step approach with tons of practice to build up confidence and skills.

Im so happy with how fast they can find you a test. The instructor Phil is Amazing and if you don't understand something he will explain it clearly so that u know it.

Carcaptain were very flexible in trying to work around my commitments/availability! The 2 hour lessons are really good as it gives you time to get into what you are doing and the regularity of lessons means it helps stick in your brain! Theory test was organised easily for me and was able to be postponed for me. the resources/access and helpful revision material was set up which made the theory test a lot easier. The use of videos are great as they have the theory and real life footage which you can watch again and again to make sure you really understand it. I didn't think I could learn and pass in such a short amount of time but I did it with carcaptain's help!

Three of my daughters passed their test first time under Chris’ instruction. They are so happy and I can’t recommend Carcaptain highly enough. Everything was explained clearly and all questions dealt with efficiently. Thank you Carcaptain Ltd.

Car captain are an excellent driving school and helped me pass my driving test very quickly for my first time. My driving instructor Chris was very friendly and was a great help to me, along with the people in the office, who were very helpful as they booked my theory test and my driving test extremely fast. Definately would recommend!

First of all l would like to thank God and I would also like to thank personally Yolanda for giving me the best instructor whose name is Bala. Bala has been so helpful, patient, kind, honest and cool to drive with, I would recommend anyone whose going for automatic to ask for Bala. The communication with car captain staff was so good and on point and the prices are fair. For future reference Would recommend Car captain to my family, and friends and who else is reading this.

I passed 1st time, my instructor ade was amazing. He helped me though everything and at the end I managed to pass, so a big thanks to car captain for speeding up my process.
