NO Cover

The day after ordering, I got an email to say it would be 7-10 days late. Strange if you don't know your own stock levels. 28 days later, still no cover, rang to cancel
From another customer, the covers are too big and don't fit very well

Dont buy for a fitted cover

Disappointingly supposedly a 7 layer cover that perfectly fits my Toyota CHR - NOT.

It just a cheap generic outer and inner layer cover that is MILES TOO BIG for the CHR - is all over the floor and flaps in the wind. Just buy the cheapest one you can find it certainly wont fit any worse.

DONT BUY THESE COVERS

The so-called “premium” version has been a complete failure. It lets water and dust pass straight through, offering virtually no protection at all. Even light wind easily displaces the cover, making it completely unreliable for outdoor use.

I raised a complaint, expecting a reasonable solution, but instead I was told I could get a replacement — only if I paid over $100 in shipping. Frankly, that’s unacceptable. After such a poor experience with the original product, there is no justification for asking me to spend more money on something I have no confidence in.

Carcoverfactory nz

This site and it’s local country variants are straight up scams, the pose as selling high quality covers (7 layers, protection from rain, wind and sun) however they re cheaply made 2 layer products. An inner soft layer and a plastic type exterior. They initially hold up well however the exterior layer begins to degrade after 10 months or so of outdoor use - it leaves a fine plastic dust and then begins to rip. They have localised websites for many countries when in fact the based overseas (likely Chinese).I would not buy car covers from them again

Ordered a Tesla Model 3 cover, doesn't fit

Ordered a Tesla Model 3 cover. Get an email to say they aren't in stock after ordering/paying online.
Option to wait 5 weeks or pay an extra $80 shipping. Chose to wait it out. Zero communication with an update weeks down the track. Had to chase up my order twice. There is no office in NZ. Finally the cover arrived and it does not fit the Model 3 as advertised!.
I would not recommend purchasing a car cover from them.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

Purchased a premium cover from website that stipulates guaranteed same day shipping, guaranteed delivery by X date, and that there were over 100 in stock.

Get an email 2 days later saying out of stock and would have to pay $60 to get direct from USA or wait until stock arrived in Sydney?!

Reminding them of their "guarantee" meant nothing to them. Can't trust them to honour postage, sure as heck can't trust their product.

Basically a shifty USA based dropshipper who is false advertising.

Stay away from 'local' businesses based offshore

Ordered a premium cover online, paid, then received an email asking to pay an additional $60 as they were out of stock in NZ and the cover would need to be shipped from the US. The website boasts free shipping so this came as a surprise. Called the local support number which re-routed to a foreign call centre and eventually spoke to a 'manager' who confirmed that I could either pay up or get a refund. So, they are an offshore company masquerading as a local business thinking it's ok to rip us off, and crossing legal boundaries in the process. Stay away, not worth the hassle. Hopefully I get my refund as promised, but not holding my breath. Drop shipping at its worst.
