While I was happy with the car I got on HP and understood the implications it now appears the individual who made the 'sale' lied to me and stated the finance company wouldn't give me the finance for the car without me taking out the Drive Happy Warranty. Foolishly I believed her and it is only now that I am trying to tie up loose ends that I discovered the car finance company never had such a policy nor would they ever add that as a condition on providing their finance.

I am now still paying for a warranty long after I gave the car back. The warranty finance company are also saying that I paid £995 plus the interest. They state this was for a 2 year warranty while I am positive it was for a 3 year warranty. Unfortunately I do not have any of my warranty paperwork as I no longer have the car it was for.

Carcraft have always been rude, all they want is there commission, I found all the staff rude so in my eyes they got there comeuppance what a rubbish company, they are all liars

Mostly it was good but when we got the car it had a slightly flat tyre which we pumped up before leaving. Several times the tyre slowly deflated and we pumped it up. We thought maybe the seal needed redoing or it was a slow puncture. When I rang the garage section to ask if they could look at it the man did everything in his power to put me off, including telling me I would be better off nipping it to Quikfit. He also said that if it was the tyre they would have to order one in. I said this would be fine. But he was quite rude and offputting. I said I would get my husband to ring back. When my husband rang back he said he had us booked in and when my husband took the car in the man was still surly towards him but they fitted a new tyre (strange seeing as he told me they didn't keep tyres in stock).

Fortunately Carcraft has finally gone into administration! I do feel very sorry for the genuine people who have lost their jobs, however, this company was a shambles!

Carcraft were very professional from walking in to buying the car

Started off with fantastic service, really warm friendly staff with a can do attitude.
The car I wanted was in another showroom 2 and a half hours away but the sales rep said its my day off tomorrow so I'll go pick it up for you.
I came to collect the car the next day to be told there was some damage and the car wasn't ready.
It looked as though the drivers side of the car had been sprayed with sparks from an angle grinder or similar sort of thing, covering the side windows is metal that had embedded into the glass and the front wing had a minor dink.
The sales rep called the GM over who agreed that they would book the car in ASAP for the bodywork guy to fix the dink and that they would send me a check for £150 to cover the cost of the repairs to the glass, I was very happy and went off to do the paperwork.
On the drive home I noticed that the windscreen had a chip in the centre and that when someone sat in the passenger seat a big sign came up on the dash warning that they didn't have a seat belt on and that the airbag wasn't armed.
Car craft ordered the new occupancy sensor and fixed the chip in the windscreen.
I wasnt to impressed with the repair as you can still see the chip as clear as day.
The person I spoke to told me that if I claim on my insurance that car craft would pay the excess.
I said no chance I'm not happy with that and booked it back in with the service department.
The service department said that as the chip had been sealed it was safe and above mot standard and that they would not replace the glass.
So now I have £12500 of finance for a car that has almost £1800 worth of damaged glass. I did receive a check for £150 though ..... Happy days !!!!
Also I bought the car 3 weeks ago and still no sign of the £100 holding deposit.
I have been assured twice that it has been processed and that sometimes it takes a little longer because it gets bounced around a number of different departments.
Just don't hold your breath for it back.
All in all I was initially very very happy with car craft.
I'm kicking myself now though for (A) beleiving the Manager that £150 would cover the cost of replacing the driver side front and rear side windows and (B) beleiving that the car was subject to a 120 point AA approved inspection and not going over the car with a fine tooth come before signing the finance.
Because I sure as hell wouldn't have bought it knowing about the true cost of the damaged glass.
My own fault for being so gullible and not making a fuss.
Car craft would have gotten a 10 out of 10 had it not been for the fact I got tucked up with the glass, Shame really.

Customer service throughout the whole process was exceptional. The salesman, Ahmed made us very welcome and let us wander round the cars while he went and made the tea. Once we had decided on a car, we test drove it and then sorted out a finance deal and Kenny the manager was certain he could do better than the deal I had been quoted by the finance team over the phone. It was late on a Sunday so we went home to await the finance decision. There was no pressure to keep us there, they were more than happy to get all the paperwork done and for us to return to collect the car. Once we knew it was all arranged we went back on the Wednesday evening after work to sign finance documents and take the car. To our delight the finance was actually £24 per month cheaper, a deal that Faz arranged for us. Every member of staff was professional throughout the deal with everything explained fully at every stage and with a vast amount of cars to choose from. Admittedly we spent more than intended but we were never pressurised into doing so and certainly not followed around as other people have stated. I love my car and would 100% recommend Carcraft at Lakeside and will use them again as it just made everything so easy thanks to Ahmed, Faz and Kenny. Good work Carcraft!

I was made to feel welcome by charlotte even before I arrived. She was attentive and professional and not in the least bit pushy. She made sure I knew and had everything I needed and was there to help from the moment I walked in to the second I drove away. I felt Charlotte went above and beyond my expectations and made a tough day very easy. Well done and thank you

Great staff, excellent choice of cars but spent 6 hours there before I could drive away. Very long process but ultimately a happy ending with a great car

Staff were very good. Very pleased with the car. Would consider buying there in the future.

We were made to feel at ease straight away and not under any pressure. When we did need help someone was there and the same guy dealt with us over the whole process which is nice. Very friendly. Great service. Thank you

Really polite and courteous staff

I went to Carcraft In Wednesbury last Wednesday night. I was in hope of driving a car away that night, however I had a shocking credit score!!
I continued anyway with hopes built!
Anyway, I had a fantastic team support me and much to my surprise I drove away with a Fiat Punto 61' plate. I love her!! The team were so supportive and were genuinely excited for me too!! Couldn't have gone through that experience without them!! Thank you

Went into carcraft to purchase a vauxhall zafira chose one drove out with a new vehicle within two hours

After been pressured by the sales manager he told that he would throw in a 3 year warrantee, 3 year servicing & 3 years MOTs breakdown cover in with the £7799 price I now find out that Carcraft have added £995 to the price of the Car

My advise would be to stay clear of Carcraft
