I would give a "No" star rating if I could !!!! For 2weeks now I haven't had my Red recycling bag collected & emptied by the Cardiff City Council refuse collection lorry. Some of my neighbours have had the same problem. As British citizens we are told to help save the planet and recycle any objects we can, and this is the local service we get !! I have reported this issue.(DON'T FORGOT WE PAY OUR COUNCIL TAX FOR THIS SERVICE ) . So my red bag will stay in the street until someone from the dept. decides to collect it. Other neighbours, like myself, have generally had to clean up our Close with the debris that the refuse collectors leave scattered around the area. Not a problem for me today as I had no collection. I hope Cardiff City Council Refuse Dept. is making a note of my complaint to them.

I tried to get online to view important new information about my council tax and it will not let me access my own information. Due to my frustration with this site which is always buffering or stalling I have requested contact by post. One of the worst sites I have ever used they really need to improve their Tech and IT systems very bad.

We went to the Park & Ride of the A48 yesterday to save us driving into the centre of the city but now it only goes to the Heath Hospital? There used to be a service to the city centre but nothing on the signs to say it just goes to the Heath and we were not the only ones there who did not know this. Is this the only reason people visit Cardiff to go to hospital? It looks like Cardiff council have no interest in saving the planet and reducing congestion on the roads not to mention wasting visitor's time. Probably go shopping in Bristol next time.

Missed collection of recycling bags, I reported it online, and within 1,hour the recycling was collected,thanks for prompt service,

What do call a council who can’t even get refuge collection right .. Cardiff Council Council .. the total Welsh embarresment

Stupid letter of the year. It tells me that I am to remind HGV delivery drivers that they are not to use the road my business is on unless they deliver to the business. What the feck?

Still, I had a laugh. It gets a 2 for the guffaws.

Would give the council 0 stars not from Cardiff or Wales for that matter originally and have lived in other parts of the country but Cardiff council are the one of the worst most corrupt councils around the council has turn most of the central areas in to dumps and people are trying to move away because of poor attitudes towards it own city and the money wasted is shocking not to mention doing things in local areas without any consultation of the residents or business in the area for that matter. If anyone has sense we should all vote out the corrupt labour councillor there a joke.

The worst Council in the UK, fail to collect waste, and even when reported a week later its still not collected, leaving a health hazard for all residents

Came from Australia to Uk for 5 week trip in July.
5 days in Cardiff and found it to be awesome (people & city) but 2 £50 fines post trip in Cardiff (no right turns) have changed my outlook.
The worst road system in the UK by far and poor signage.
Drove close to 2000miles on this trip and not one other infringement.
Tourists are basically set up to fail when driving in the city

The worst most corrupt "service" in exixtance! The put up council tax, theh reduce our services! They cant even be bothered to answer phones anymore, if they do they have NO IDEA how to help. Spoke to a woman today in cardiff council, to complain about repated missed refuse collections. She was absolutely useless! Basically said "we will TRY and come out soon...."

"For foreign drivers, it's like hell. At night, it's so dark that you can't see the bus-only lanes. Of course, if you drive through them, you’ll get fined for violating the bus lane rules. But since you can't access the website from abroad, the fine just keeps increasing. A clever strategy by the city of Cardiff. I barely managed to pay the fine by asking a British friend for help. I will never go there again. Be careful. The excessive parking fees must also be a great source of revenue for Cardiff City."

Parking Permit; had this before with the council and nothing has changed!! I need to park in controlled zones (C2 area of Cardiff) yet trying to get their Mipermit to verify the reason why i want to park outside a residential property to carry out work given the fact that i am a contractor paying a contractors waiver (£60 for 28 days) yet they do not/will not accept proof that i am a qualified registered contractor residing in Cardiff 50+years!
Sent them an invoice supplied photos of my current ongoing work at the property and picture of the house! they are quick enough to issue fines (yes, been fined) but proofs sent to them - NO not acceptable, what do you have to do apart from moving your vehicle every 2 hours!

Useless … we are over taxed for pointless expenditure!

Waste of money! Zero accountability!

As a bankrupt entity it needs to be accountable!

To raise council tax with less being offered in a time when most are struggling is an absolute joke!

I am leaving this review here, as cannot find any other suitable site to leave it in
Was trying to park my car TT, today in Cardiff on Albany Rd. I saw a traffic Warden, Andrew and his colleague Luke. I just have to say they were so nice to me, they tried to help me park the car. It was crazy as the space was unsuitable therefore I went to park elsewhere.
However just need to say Andrew and Luke were both a really great help.
I never thought I'd sat this about any traffic Warde. Yet Both Andrew & Luke are an assett to the company. Really helpful Wardens 🙂

Phoned the other day to ask for THE CLOSE

Was told did not need to pay council tax, as property HMO. Got a backdated bill a year after moving out ! Often rude customer service, Tons of unhoused homeless people on street and a huge drug problem in the city. Poor administration. A lot of cold soulless, un-empathetic people work there.

Cardiff council are an embarrassment they have really turned the city centre into a carpark because they wanna change all the lanes into taxi lanes and cycle lanes. What a joke

The road infrastructure leading into the city is in a dreadful state. Frequently, only one car is able to pass through traffic lights at a time, which highlights a deeply inefficient and poorly designed system. This problem reflects poorly on the local council, which seems to prioritize financial gain over improving the system for residents and commuters.

Instead of addressing the root causes of the congestion and enhancing the road network, the council has chosen to install numerous cameras solely for the purpose of issuing fines to those who make minor mistakes.

This approach feels less about improving traffic flow and more about exploiting the public for revenue. It creates a system that is both frustrating and unjust, and ultimately undermines the quality of life for people in the area. It is a selfish and greedy system that tarnishes the reputation of Wales and leaves residents and visitors feeling neglected.

I urge the council to reconsider their priorities and focus on creating a more functional and fair system for everyone.

But sadly i don't see that happenings they profit so much from their roads being dreadful, and cars get stuck and trapped in all of their yellow boxes.

The rubbish situation in Cardiff Streets is getting out of hand and when you call the Council after waiting for 3 0 minutes the line goes dead.

Cardiff council have turned the city centre into a car park, congestion beyond belief while the cycle lanes that they have turned half the road into are completely Empty only used occasionally by the odd just eat delivery cyclist

Time to admit your cycle experiment has failed and return those lanes to car use to ease the congestion.
