I received my resume in late February or early March but didn't use it until just a couple of weeks ago. I had ordered it early because I knew I was moving. I have always done my own resumes but because I was making a big life change and moving at the same time, I didn't want to take the chance on not finding a good job. I figured it would be worth the investment and I wouldn't have to worry about such an important thing. Not only is my resume good, it's great! As soon as I submitted it I was getting calls. I had put in for about 15 jobs on a Friday night and I started getting emails that night! I couldn't believe that i would hear from people on a weekend. I ended up with 5 interviews that next week and a couple of interviews the week after. I got a great job offer with great benefits thanks to your skill in writing my resume. The resume is what gets you the phone call or email. What you do after that is up to you. I heard from every potential employer that my resume was one of the best they have seen! Thank you again! I start work next week!

The writer is undoubtedly full of good intentions but apparently is heavily overloaded with work. The resume incorporates childish mistakes e.g. the name of the previous client on the second page, strange new mistakes after a correction of old mistakes. Sloppy dots and commas on places where they do not belong. This is not the end of the world but confirms the devastating impact of the lack of time; it is sad it could be so much more professional.

Career Perfect promoted that the writer is always available for communication hence when I understood that email communication results in correction but generated new mistakes (how that is possible I do not know) I decided to call only to hear from the 'sales department' that was operating the 'customer support' support line that a direct telephone conversation with the writer can be 'arranged' for $ 50 per call.

I do think that Career Perfect can make resumes from scratch, but when you have a decade of work experience there is simply not enough time and knowledge to examine and investigate your specific case, and $300 is wasted. As are the weeks of answering hundreds of standardized questions via the portal from which I am pretty sure that nobody ever looked at. It is such a pity; it could have resulted in such a professional resume.

I do not understand where all these good reviews come from. Perhaps it is a scam financed with my sponsored $ 300. Unfortunately, I will never know the truth.

I was hesitant at first because of the price tag, however I was blown away with the results. I had the honor to work with Melissa on my resume. My resume was about as perfect as one could expect. It summarized my experience to absolute perfection and was presented exactly the way I had hoped. I couldn't have done it better myself. I highly recommend this service and want to send my personal regards and "Thank you" to Melissa for her outstanding job.

Summary: It was barely helpful and it wasn't something that I would consider outstanding according to some of the reviews I saw in this website. The writer didn't pay attention to detail and is not nice when you make an effort to explain something to a person and you just feel ignored.

I'm writing my review because I saw this one and I consider I have been deceived by the 5 stars rating with 100% the positive reviews so my expectations were very high. Now I see I should have done a better research of the subject. The improvement made to my resume, in my opinion, didn't worth the money invested. It might be because my CV was already written with active verbs and all those tips we can read through the web when we search for advising on CV writing. The CV sent to me had a poor look, specially the header and the bullet points used, although that's a matter of taste.. Also there was no attention to detail as the name of my course wasn't correct, it had some writing errors, some sentences that were very similar and after my call of attention the writer left it the same way. I was so tired of trying to make the CV writer understand what I pretended, after sending 2 times huge feedbacks about my concerns and just a few changes were made according to it, that I just quitted to explain further my concerns because I saw they were almost useless.

However, there was some sentences or job descriptions that were improved specially because the writer can resume more ideas in one sentence than me reducing the amount of ideas per space of text used. I made comments and underlined some points of the CV sent to me and I felt ignored because there was no explanation why they were left untouched or some kind of specific feedback about it. Something like: "I will leave this like that because of..." and then maybe I could understand why things were left like that.. The cover letter I consider it was better than my previous letter mostly on the text organization and it was maybe the point where I feel that this service was more useful to me, still we don't pay only for the cover letter and I was still disappointed with the fact that neither the cover letter or the CV seamed to be directed to the job I described them I wanted to apply, once there is a lot of references to things that don't seam important to this job but once more I got no specific feedback about this..

The price for getting your resume and cover letter rewritten by this company is not cheap... BUT... in the end it's worth it. The first person that did my resume rewrite, did it pretty quickly, and I wasn't satisfied with it. I didn't like the way it looked, and they didn't really interview me to get more information.

However - a senior manager intervened, and reassigned me to someone else. They asked me questions, rewrote my resume for me, and the senior manager explained why it was in the format it was, and why it was helpful. I went from getting a few responses about my resume, to 20+ recruiters contacting ME! Eventually, I landed my new job from a recruiter who liked my resume and thought I would be a perfect fit. The money I spent on this service? VERY MUCH WORTH IT!

I know this probably won't be the same story for everyone - but I went from a $50K job to an $80K job.

This company is amazing. I recently got out of navy and needed a resume that would help me get a job or even looked at. They were prompt and ask questions to make it the best resume it could be. Anytime I needed something added in the resume it was done without any problems, and the draft came back extremely quick.

I was in search for a professional and reputable company to prepared a resume and cover letter for me, as a mid career, mid to upper management level young professional. I called to ask a list of detailed and specific questions, and the representative that I initially talked to was amazing, efficient, concise, specific and easy to talk to. Once I signed up for their services, I was quickly assigned to a personal writer and received a welcome message directly from her. I received my documents exactly within the short timeframe that was promised to me. The draft that I received was AMAZING! It was much, much better than what I had anticipated and was hoping for. The only changes that I had to the draft documents (and I'm a tough critic) was to add another position.
