Very good experience
The care and attention given at Care Fertility Woking is excellent. The nurses were very caring, took time to explain things to us and listen to any concerns or anxieties we had. I actually felt sad when I was told I was discharged (even though this was due to a very positive outcome) as I would have happily continued with my pregnancy care there. The only feedback I have is that the consultant we spoke to, Dr Riddle, lacked a bit of empathy. You could clearly see he knew what he was talking about and is an expert in his field, which is very important, however given the sensitivity of the topic a little extra empathy would go a long way.
We were extremely fortunate that the IVF treatment worked on the first try, without complications, and we are currently expecting a baby boy!

Currently in our TWW and praying for our miracle baby
We are currently in our two week wait following our embryo transfer. Our journey to starting a family hasn’t been straight forward, we have been trying to conceive naturally since April 2023 and finally got an appointment with care fertility in October 2025 through the NHS to try and get some help. We had our egg retrieval in January and had a few set backs due to, OHSS risks and low progesterone but we finally made it to a transfer and all I can say is I just feel so grateful to have this opportunity and to finally be pregnant until proven otherwise. I really hope this transfer is sucessfull but regardless of the outcome the team at Care Manchester have been great. Beverley, one of the nurses who does the scan’s is genuinely one of the nicest women I have ever met. She is so knowledgable and most importantly she genuinely cares, she passed me on to the next stage for my egg retrieval and for my transfer and at the end of both those appointments we both shared the excitement of getting to the next stage together, she is a truly wonderful human being and is perfect at her job, she is a credit to the clinic. All of the team at Care have been lovely, another lovely nurse Kim has taken my blood a few times and looked after me on the egg retrieval ward, she made sure I was okay and has never once hurt me taking my blood, once again a lovely woman that is great at her job.

I’m genuinely disappointed
I’m genuinely disappointed to be having to write this, but after receiving no response to the final part of my complaint and what has felt like a lack of meaningful engagement throughout the process I feel I have no choice but to put this in writing. I’ve come to the conclusion that Care only “care” about spending money with them, not the patient experience. A quick look at the low reviews will tell you that
My NHS treatment with CARE Fertility Manchester began positively. The nursing team, consultants, and staff involved in my stimulation cycle and egg retrieval were supportive, professional, and I’m genuinely grateful for the care I received during that stage.
However, serious concerns arose around my diagnosis and treatment planning. Across multiple scans, adenomyosis was not identified by Care. After moving to a new clinic, this was identified on my very first scan. At Care, I was also informed of suspected endometriosis only shortly before my frozen embryo transfer by Care and then proceeded anyway with the transfer of my only embryo from 12 eggs (down reg definitely should have been considered). When I started this journey, my husbands morphology was the only factor we were aware of and we asked for ICSI, we were told to do IVf which resulted in 3 of my 12 eggs being fertilised and only one of those becoming a blastocyst.
This whole process has left me questioning why important underlying conditions were missed or not appropriately investigated sooner, and whether that affected the outcome of what was our one and only NHS-funded round of treatment.
As a result of these concerns, I am now in the incredibly difficult position of having a rejected appeal for a second NHS-funded round of treatment due to Care not giving the whole picture, something I never imagined I would have to do or would be declined for given the circumstances. To then feel that my concerns have initially been dismissed / declined rather than properly acknowledged has only added to the distress of an already deeply painful situation. Dr. Bamford seemed more keen on making me worry about the price rising inbetween times if I appealed, when realistically it’s still my right to appeal anyway. I genuinely would never spend a penny at this clinic considering everything above and hope that others take heed before spending their money here.
The emotional, physical, and financial impact of this has been profound, and I’m so disappointed. My care elsewhere has been entirely different already and has made me realise I really did just choose the wrong clinic unfortunately. I really hope things improve for the sake of other people.
*update following Care’s reply - this last part of the complaint has been ignored. There has still been no acknowledgement or apology for missing adenomyosis (which was found by another clinic in the very first scan) and for not changing course when realising endo was at play. This clinic refuses to take responsibility for something they have done and their response proves this.

Manchester clinic
We had appointment today in Manchester clinic and everyone was nice , helpful and the place very clean .
I didnt even feel anything while i had my blood test taken , the lady was very gentle and quick .
The feritility assessment which I had done by Bev was really lovely, she was very friendly , profesional and also super gentle . Im usually stressed with any doctors appointments , She explained everything what she will be doing , it was the best experience I had so far with any doctors appointment.
I can definitely recommend this clinic .

Care Fertility became our second home, highly recommended
We started our fertility journey with Care Fertility, London, about 3 years ago. I had two egg collections and 5 frozen embryo transfers with the clinic and I am so grateful to say we are now 36 weeks pregnant and about to welcome a little boy into our family.
Despite some initial issues with changes in Doctor and clunky processes with the finance and admin teams, we have overall had an outstanding experience with Care and highly recommend them.
The clinical teams (doctors, nurses, sonographers) are excellent and we felt in capable hands at all times, especially after leaving to do two additional egg collections (embryo batching) at CRGH, and then returning for our transfers.
Despite the first 3 transfers failing, we had such a good experience that we decided to transfer all the stored embryos at CRGH to Care to continue implantation attempts with them. We got lucky on number 5.
A particular thank you goes to Dr Priyanka who has been kind, patient and knowledgeable. She also personally performed my fifth successful transfer 🙂
Then there is the one-and-only Nurse Manager, Charlotte. There were so many times Charlotte went above and beyond with us I've lost count. She was always there on the end of an email or phone call and always found a way to accommodate what we needed, even if not within the nursing department or even standard opening hours!
Finally, to Elliot our Carepal representative from the administrative team. Thank you to his diligence, promptness and kindness we had a much improved administrative experience on returning, which made all the difference to our experience, making the necessary admin and invoice payments pretty much seamless.
We both highly recommend Care Fertility and wish you all the best of luck on your journey. It may take more time than you expect or want, but success is possible, even for us at 43/44 with low ovarian reserve, and with the maximum stimulation medication possible.
