Carelamps Derma UVB lamp missing - do not order from this company.

I ordered a Derma UVB lamp for £169.
Money taken immediately as expected.
I then got an email from DHL saying that they had the package. Then then they told me it was delayed. Now there are saying Carelamps has not dispatched it.
I have emailed Carelamps twice and phoned about 4 times. No response to either of my emails and the phone goes straight to voicemail.

I have requested a dispute via my payment method.
A simple response from the company explaining the situation was all I was looking for.
This is the first time I have ever resorted to requesting a refund on any internet based order.
Disappointed.

AVOID - SCAMMERS Received the lamp but wanted to refund as no longer required. Submitted the returns form online and no response - over a month ago now. Will be doing a charge back via the bank.

I would leave 0 stars if I could

I would leave 0 stars if I could. They claim you get 30 days money back guarantee - well I have put through a return form FOUR times, they claim you will hear back within 24hrs (not true because I do not hear back at all). I have also put through two general forms over email, and they do not respond there either. I tried to call, nobody picks up. I received the lamp on the 10th of October, and then next morning I put through a return request on the 11th October. I have not used the item. It is not fit for the purpose I wanted to use it for and therefore it remains brand new, never turned on or used and still in the box. They will not respond and the claim that you will get your money back is clearly a SCAM. STEER CLEAR if you are unsure on the item, because you will not get a refund!!!!! Very frustrated because now I am £160 out of pocket and have a lamp that I now cannot use at all.

Non delivery met with radio silence

I borrowed one of these laps from a friend and was suitably impressed enough to buy one. I placed an order on 29th August and payment was accepted. I have not received any comms at at all about delivery. I contacted this company via their on line form and also left 2 phone messages. Nobody has contacted me and I am being met by radio silence. If I don't get a response today I will start the section 75 process with my credit card company for a rebate. Shame really as the product itself seems good.

Update on Saturday 6th September. I wrote a letter of complaint to Care Lamps on 4th September about their lack of communication. Later the same day I received a note from DHL saying that my product was due for delivery on 5th Sept, but I opted to pick it up instead. First a note on the product after I received it. Packed excellently and the product works 100%. Superb. no complaints whatsoever. Its a real shame that care lamps don't have great (or any) comms, I am not the first person to communicate about this issue. To their credit they respond today with a letter stating that the product was delivered within the 5 day window. I accept that and that's great. What isn't good is;not answering or in any way responding to my 2 telephone calls, not responding to my email and not responding to my on line query, this part of the order process was poor. Care lamps accepted this part of the process was poor and offered a 20% discount on the next order. To be honest, a phone call would have sufficed giving me confidence that my messages were not going into a black hole. I hope the product is reliable as I am now concerned about what level of after sales service will be on offer. I hope they raise their game as I am not the first person to complain about the lack of comms. If they want to respond to this review that would be welcomed!

Still no lamp and no refund and email addresses that dont exist dont give these rip off merchants your money

Update to the carelamps situation
I bought a lamp off care lamps and they took my money and did not keep in contact till I wrote a bad review on trustpilot
They answered my review and told me to email them at the email address below and its a dud website just like all their other websites ( the email address which I sent many emails to either does not work or they were just ignoring me
The website they gave me did not work none of their websites work
When I emailed them the email was sent back with the following message from gmail
Your message wasn't delivered to ...........( trustpilot wont let me type the email they gave me ) because the domain saleslamps.com couldn't be found. Check for typos or unnecessary spaces and try again.

THIS WEBSITE DOES NOT WORK
CARELAMPS ARE YOU EVER GOING TO CONTACT ME THROUGH MY EMAIL ADDRESS INSTEAD OF ANSWERING ME ON TRUST PILOT YOUR JUST TRYING TO DO DAMAGE LIMITATION
WHY DONT YOU JUST SEND THE LAMP OR REFUND ME?????
my full addreess is on my paypal reciept and my paypal details.
I have never bought something through paypal and it not get to my house.
Also DHL know about the 2 concierge systems where I live as they deliver to harvist estate every single day so they could have left it at one of those
Also whats your excuse for your companymnot keeping in contact with me and not answering emails?
Its not like Im the only person on trust pilot writing about how badly your company treated them
Its not like Im the only one.

Your order was placed on August 25th and shipped the next day, August 26th. DHL's tracking information shows that the delivery was delayed and the reason for the delay was an incorrect delivery address. Please note that the address we used for shipping was the exact address you provided at the time of purchase. This is an automated process to ensure accuracy.
We also want to clarify that our standard free shipping policy states a delivery time of 2-5 business days. Your package was shipped on August 26th, which means the 5th business day for delivery is actually tomorrow, September 2nd.
Regarding the email address, we can confirm that we provided you with the correct email, sales@carelamps.com. The address you attempted to contact, saleslamps.com, is not owned by us, which explains why your message bounced back.
We have already offered you a full refund via our email correspondence and are waiting for your response. If they cannot we will refund you by the end if the day.

A great product!

I’ve read a lot of negative reviews on here however my experience has not been the same. I love my red light and use it daily. As an ex skin expert I really do feel this is a great product with fair pricing. Excellent for skin rejuvenation which is what I primarily use it for. You cannot expect to see results in 2-3 weeks. You must persevere, be consistent with how you use it and the results will come. I hope that helps someone.

After spending a lot of time looking at…

After spending a lot of time looking at many different lamps from all different companies, I decided to use CareLamps.

The units are very robust and put together exceptionally, a very professional piece of kit. Very easy to use and spec wise , it’s of a very high standard.

I also purchased the stand which you can have the lamps vertical or horizontal, the stands are also a solid piece of kit.

I can’t recommend this company enough and Ian has been fantastic to deal with from start to finish.

I don’t often leave reviews, but made an exception today

very disappointed

very disappointed. brought this lamp, to use straight away, for a medical condition. yet when it arrived, after waiting all day in the freezing cold for a delivery, it turned out to be such poor quality that I have to return it. hope that Care Lamp is not going to charge me for postage.

Absolutely amazing product from a very efficient company

Absolutely amazing product which has helped my daughter’s skin so much - she has been going through topical steroid withdrawal reactions. We bought the
Derma Red PLUS P600 . Her skin is far less inflamed and the itchiness has calmed down significantly and healing has been promoted. She is using it twice a day. She cannot recommend it enough for her skin issues.
The service from this company is superb, Any queries are answered really quickly and delivery was quick and efficient.
Thank you for providing somewhere in the U.K. who will supply these products. We are so very grateful to you. Thanks for all your first class support.

Just received my UVB lamp today and the blub is broken I thoughtat first, but it only was only loose. Paid for the lamp and a customs charge before delivery, will update in several weeks to tell you about this product.

Missing: Refund

Package was returned 3.5 weeks ago with the native logistics partner of Care Lamps

No refund issued yet

Contacted the customer service multiple times
Extremely aggressive response from Ian telling me that there will not be a refund without the parcel

Clearly NOT my responsibility

They are not showing interest in finding a solution or
contacting THEIR logistics partner and updating me on the case

Can not recommend this company

Definitely a terrible customer experience thus far

I'm sorry you feel that we had to refund you before receiving your return.

We did not arrange return shipping. This was sent back to us without our knowledge via DPD as you refused to pay the customs charges that were requested by your local government customs agency.

The requirement to pay customs for non-UK orders is clearly stated on every product page, our shipping page, our terms and conditions page, and our help section.

We offer a Delivery duty pre-paid option so that you know exactly what you will pay in total, which you chose not to use.

This meant your return has had to go through German customs twice and UK customs twice hence the delay in your return reaching us.

The simple fact is that the delay was due to these reasons.

You contacted us once on the 11th of July with regards to this issue (prior to this review), which was replied to within 24 hours and stated that we had not received the parcel back from you and that no refund would be issued until the parcel was received.

A simple email, yes, but not at all aggressive.

Failed Product Resolved Under Warranty

I gifted my husband a Derma Red p900 and a p300 for Christmas 2022. By 10 May 2023, one row of red LEDs in the p900 stopped working. I emailed the company the same day with photographic evidence and was given a response on the same day, so I was feeling optimistic for resolution. However, the last email I received from them was 12 May asking when was a good time to collect the lamp. I responded to this email twice with radio silence in return. It's the 25th of May and I just want to return both devices for a full refund because the equipment isn't reliable, nor is the customer service. I'm working on getting the company added to resolver.com so I can get my money back and purchase another lamp from another company.

UPDATE: Still no communication despite response below stating an email was sent. Gaslighting, really?

Further Update: Ian reached out and rectified the problem with my Derma Red p900 and I was sent a replacement. Fingers crossed this one lasts the test of time. It's a significant investment.

We actually emailed you yesterday asking if the faulty light could be picked up today but perhaps this went to your junk mail?

We also stated that we would send you a new lamp so you didn't have to wait for a warranty fix.

We also mentioned that a refund is not possible. This is because the order is 6 months old and the products are used. However as per our 3 year warranty procedure with your product, we will repair (in this case replace) the unit and pay for shipping both ways.

I recently bought the Derma Red P900…

I recently bought the Derma Red P900 Light Panel from Care Lamps UK for my own personal use, and I couldn't be happier that I did or that I used this company. The lamp is extremely sturdy and of good quality. It has the two wavelengths that are used in mostly all studies that deal with a wide range of health issues including pain relief, anti-inflammation, tissue healing, energy production (due to improved mitochondrial function) and collagen enhancing. Actually the list of health, wellness and beauty benefits is endless and the company has a link to a vast number of studies on it's website under 'red light therapy' and 'learn'. Delivery was quick, smooth and problem-free and I have found Ian in customer services to be extremely helpful (e.g. when I had an issue setting the lamp up which was down to me not reading the instructions properly!). I can't wait until the company has their vertical stands back in stock at which point I'll order one along with a small additional panel to add to the larger panel. Very poor customer service

I bought the Derma Red P600 device and paid £499.00 online. After that, I received no confirmation, no receipt, no information whatsoever. I found no telephone number on their websites. I left two emails to them. But no replies. It has been more than 3 days now. I think their customer service is very poor to say the least, and possibly fraud. I am going to withdraw my payment.
