HORRIBLE HORRIBLE DO NOT BUY!!

Worst experience!!! Bought a dress for a wedding, came in late, wanted to return. Wish I had read reviews first. Tried to return, she was going to give me $18.00 for a $185.00 USD dress, plus I had to pay return shipping of $162.00, told me to sale it online. This is basically a scam. They take your money and then cost so much to return that they made money, and they are done!!! BUYER BEWARE!!

Worst customer service I have ever had.

I ordered a dress in the ivory color for my elopement ceremony thinking it would be really nice I could even wear it later next year for our actual larger reception. The dress did not arrive on time I was a full week and half after the latest estimated date of arrival and 2 days after my elopement, so I wasn't able to wear it. I then reached out to the customer service contact listed on the website to start the process of a return. I explained that it arrived too late and that I hadn't even opened the bag it arrived in I just wanted to return it and the representative literally told me to keep it and try to resale it on my own. I mentioned that was unacceptable and that their listed return policy clearly states that the customer pays for whatever shipping they need to get it back, and then there is a 10% restock fee which for this dress would be $162 for the return (I did the math for them). They followed up at that point and said, 'Well if you want to try and return it put a note that says $30 with the dress, and we will try to give that back to you or take our advice to resell it on your own.' This was a standard sized dress no custom alterations and still in the original packaging, and they just refused their own return policy. I'm currently filing a dispute with my CC company to get the funds returned to me because of this whole situation, but I was willing to take the returned item money if they actually followed through.

Moral of the story is BUYER BEWARE!!
If you choose to get a dress from here firstly make sure you give yourself a couple of extra weeks on the estimated arrival time.
Secondly make sure you really want the dress or are willing to try and sell it off yourself because you are likely not going to be able to send it back.

Too big

Too big, too long.
I am 5" and 98 pounds. I can never wear a special occasion dress off the rack. I took a risk and I ordered a custom dress, hoping not to need alterations. I measured myself precisely as requested, and the dress was way too big. It did not fit my bust, the length in the shoulder was too big by 3 or 4 inches, and the length was a full 12 inches too long. I does not appear that any adjustments were made to a regular size 0. I needed a dress much smaller, much shorter, and this will not work. I am giving 2 stars because it was on time, and appears to be a nice dress. But I can't wear it and I can't return it. Just in case this one didn't work, I ordered another style custom dress from Mondressy, a different company, and it fits perfectly. I have something to wear, but this is not it. A nice dress, but I wouldn't count on custom sizing. Order only if you can normally wear a dress off the rack and if you are ok with possibly needing additional alterations.

Good customer service but is in China

The dresses arrived in good time and the colour was exactly as ordered and they seemed lovely dresses. Unfortunately they just didn’t fit right and there was too much that needed to be done to get them altered. I ordered the regular sizes rather than custom made so I had the option of returning. I hadn’t checked this site before so was also unaware that I had to return to China and this wasn’t clear on the site /returns policy. However, the person I dealt with was polite and courteous and helped manage the returns and I was refunded.

I think if I was to use again, would measure and order the made to measure- which you can’t return but you would know it fitted. The return to China did cost £30 but I had ordered a couple of dresses so was worth the cost.

I am grateful that the returns policy was honoured. Thank you

Absolute waste of money

Absolute waste of money. Posing as a UK company and then asking for item to be returned to China is not acceptable. Stay clear if you don't want to be out of pocket. I have reported to Trading Standards and expect that when I purchase from a company advertised in UK then I should be able to return for a full refund.

BEWARE

BEWARE! (Dont expect your money back if you want to return it) I’m really disappointed with my purchase. The dress was really different to how it looked in the pictures! I ordered a standard size and when asked to return was told I can have £12 and not my full refund. I was happy to pay postage back. But this was not even entertained. Shocking service! Trust me! Save your money and buy else where!!

0 stars! Do not order from this company!! I ordered my dress back in April and they wouldn't cancel my order. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and I still have not received my dress and they won't refund me! Stay away! If you do order a dress, read the fine print!!

Emerald velvet plus size dress

Dress came quite quickly in the mail a little thrown off by the DHL charges on top of shipping costs... I've never ordered clothes online so ordered 1 size up, which I would have been ok ordering my regular size. Beautiful dress nonetheless less.

No properly sewn

The top looks beautiful. The length was right on. Unfortunately, the way the waist area was sewn makes the dress unwearable. It looks like there is a loose pouch rather than flattering ruching. The lining also seems to be sewn to the dress in the wrong spot which adds to the awkward fit. Might have been better not to go custom and just order a standard size 8.

I ordered a Taupe satin bridesmaid…

I ordered a Taupe aatin bridesmaid dress. The UK sizing is completely off, I'd advise anyone ordering, to order 2 sizes, the so-called "extra material" in the lining of the dress is not enough to take the dress out (as told by 3 different tailors). Also, this company NOT in the UK therefore it takes at least a month to arrive. One of the other bridesmaids who the ordered the same dress, had a slightly different colour for the rest of us other 3 bridesmaids. Furthermore, the particular style from the website didn't reflect what was advertised - the zip at the back, had to be lowered to reflect the true design.

This dress is nice fits well made well

This dress is nice fits well made well. Ordered a second one to get longer length and just because you order longer length doesn’t mean u will get it. The second dress came and it’s exactly the same length as the first. They get you by saying yes you can return but you have to return to Asia and pay customs. So by the time you do that it isn’t worth returning. The second dress too had a stitch right at the breast tracking down the layers so looks odd clearly an after thought. Dress is nice but make sure you’re ok with their sizing because the custom sizing isn’t custom

Returns are a nightmare

Poor quality. I paid $89 and they offered me a $12 refund…

Bad Size Chart

Pretty dress! I wish I could wear it. I carefully measured myself, and carefully considered the size chart. I checked about a dozen times because it seemed very off. Eventually I ordered according the the size chart and went up a size. When the dress came it was TINY. There is no way I measured myself wrong. I used to do alterations for costumes. Now I have to order a new one many sizes up, and it looks like it wont come in time for the wedding. I paid extra for expedited shipping, and will cross my fingers.

Amazing service

I love the quick delivery and how the dress arrived even after giving specific measurements to fit me which takes time to sew. Perfectly in time for my prom. Brilliant service and brilliant quality of materials!! Incredibly amazing size match. I love how this is the only place that actually had size made specifically for me!

Avoid not a uk company! Bad

Avoid! Spend your money with a different company.
Ordered a bridesmaid dress to try before ordering the rest if suitable. This 1 dress took 4 weeks to be shipped after I emailed chasing them. The dress is not right made terrible with poor quality materials. I requested the return and this took ages purely to avoid the 14 days. Posing as a uk company with the email address however the return address is in China. £25 to post with no grantee they will not say it’s lost. The customer service is shocking please don’t waste your money with this terrible company!

Avoid at all cost not UK company as advertised

i order standard size dresses requested to cancelled as no longer required, dresses had not been shipped. I was advised the dresses were made to order and couldn’t be cancelled! Even though i didn’t select the made to order service. i Received dresses poor quality meant to be champagne colour and it’s a peachy colour requested to return and was advised to sell the dresses and they would return £25 out of £190 as the postage will cost to much, The company is not in the UK even thought there adversting as UK company. Avoid ordering from this company especially if you are ordering multiple dresses it will cost as much as the dresses to return.
