Dodgy dealer

I saw a car that I liked, advertised at £3000, and contacted the dealer. He asked me for a £500 deposit, and agreed that if I didn't like the car, he would return the deposit. As I was unable to travel to Coventry to inspect the car, he told me that he could bring the car to me for a fee. When he arrived at my home, he said he had made some repairs, the car was now £3500. I wasn't happy with this, nor was I happy with the condition of the car. I asked him to return the deposit, but he refused.
Two months and several letters later I took him to court; the court found in my favour and eventually I got my deposit + costs back.
Justice served!
