Since they don't list a zero rating I don't agree with a one star. Looking for a place for false advertising to report to the FTC, AG Office or BBB than this is the one. They are advertising 2025 Honda CRV's to make room for the 2026. There is not the first 2025 model available. They are trying to sell the 2026 only.

Are you reviewers STUPID???

Are you reviewers STUPID???
I use a fake name like, John Smith and a totally different email address and a wrong phone number, so I can just get the information that I am looking for. I do all this so I don't have to CLOG UP my real email address. I have NEVER relied on any of this sites and I NEVER will. Come 'on reviewers, GET SOME BRAIN CELLS... and USE THEM!
Even my name Thomas Bailey that I am using for this review is NOT my real name. It's just the way of life nowadays is to LIE, LIE, LIE about EVERYTHING!!!

Made it MUCH Easier!

Love these guys. I'd been denied financing at a number of dealerships because of some past credit issues. This site has a special group of dealers who compete to get business from people like me, so the rate I got was surprisingly fair. Great experience overall.

Do not give them your info…

They are just a 3rd party site that connects you to the same cars and dealers you can find with a simple Google search.... only they make you put your credit info in to see the cars and then you get a flood of dealers harassing you with a credit ding and NO way to contact them despite it being within business hours.

I saw an ad for this company and decided to give it a try. Was told I would get an answer within 24 to 48 hours and never heard anything. I even called them and was told I need to wait and get an email within 24 to 48 hours. Well today makes 98 hours and still nothing. Ran my credit, but couldn't give me any answers or emails. Waste of my time and damage to my credit.

I bought a 2011Peugeot 308 sportium from cars direct in Braeside.
It’s a hidden gem car sales yard with high quality second cars with low kms to suit all kinds of people and prices. I found Lachlan, and Aaden a pleasure to deal with, with great knowledge and customer service helping with every question I had.
I highly recommend you get online check out there cars or even ring them to find you what you’re looking for. I’ll definitely return for my next purchase it might be a while though as the car I’ve bought is a beauty.

Stay away from this company

Not an actual loan company. They are just a broker. Got several local car dealers constantly calling which I absolutely did not want. No communication !!!
Skip this place. Not transparent in any way.

when I first bought a car from…

when I first bought a car from Carsdirect in 2010 it was a wonderful experience. No hugging , no negotiating no up-selling etc. I was given the address of a dealer to go (after paying $500 deposit) and simply picked up my car. Fast forward 10 years: the site was probably bought by some "car dealer group" which connects you with local dealers followed by endless emails, text and phone calls-another words: back to the old, dreaded ways of car buying process. Don't give them your contacts-just use the site to check the options, colors, specs, invoice pricing, etc of your dream car.

well worth a visit

emailed the other day asking if the car was still for sale then travelled 130 mile to look at the car. the car was sanitized ready for us to view, drive, what ever we wanted. we had the keys handed to us and then told to take our time and just give the guys a shout when we finished "No Hassle at all". to be honest the car was as described everything was what we expected. before we left we had a walk around and they had many people viewing the cars. they are the first we have visited with out the hassle they do actually leave you alone, it was so nice.

We did not buy the car as it was £300 over our budget then needed the £150 tax plus told they ask for £50 to prep the car.

So as they dont offer a discount for cash transaction even without a trade in, i thought £13k was enough to pay for the car. shame as i would have bought the car. Maybe its down to this covid and not getting to discuss who knows

Expect Unending Email Spam from Third Parties

CarsDirect.com either sold or gave my name and email address to many spamming companies that have nothing to do with cars. In less than a week, I have received twenty-one emails from: Terminix, Dish Network, Andersen Replacement Windows, home warranty coverage provider, face mask seller, credit score company, roofing company, Sam's Club, Harry's Razors, Fidelity Life Insurance, ADT provider, Quicken Loans, and Mortgage News.

I know that CarsDirect is responsible because I gave exclusively to them a shortened version of my name. All the spamming companies listed above used that abbreviated name in their emails to me.

Avoid at all cost

All they will do is take all of your financial information (including SS number) and then sell your info to car dealers. The car dealers will want massive down payments and offer 30-40 % interest loansharking. Avoid like the plague.

Not worth your time, go to the car brands website instead.

CarsDirect.com is nothing more than a dealer referral service. You can build and get MSRP price on a car, no different than going to the car brands website, then it will refer you to one of their "trusted" (read who pays them for the local referral) dealers.

I was looking for info on a 2020 Ford Super Duty truck, CarsDirect was advertised as being able to give you the dealer invoice cost, which it could not per their live chat person. The CarsDirect vehicle build tool also was flawed, it would not correctly apply packages and add on items like you could on the Ford website.
