I am an English interior designer, involved in a project in France. Sabina at Casa was efficient and extremely helpful, in navigating the delivery. Beautiful tiles, exactly what I needed for the outdoor pool house kitchen.

I ordered "free" samples to be sent "immediately".

First, they weren't free: they charged over CHF 100 for shipping.

Second: one of the samples I ordered wasn't in stock. They didn't tell me this until AFTER I ordered. They asked me what I wanted to do but sent the other samples anyway, before I could respond (I wanted to cancel the order).

Third: DHL charged customs clearance fees. They had DHL use some kind of special customs declaration that resulted in a CHF 20 fee. This wasn't the standard VAT clearance. I've also received samples that were shipped from a competitor and they didn't have this fee.

In the end, I've paid about CHF 160 because this company screwed me. Beware.

Update to address Casa39's response:
- The samples weren't free. I remembered wrong. They costed approx. CHF 5 per piece.
- It was never communicated to me that the sample wasn't part of the normal catalog or that it was unusual in any way.
- The customs clearance fees weren't from the Swiss customs administration, they were from DHL. They weren't for VAT, as is normal, they were for an extra, unusual service casa39 had ordered.
- I ordered samples from a competitor located in Germany and pay no customs fees.

I bought Glassia products for my bathroom from Casa39 and was very satisfied with the entire process.
The customer service was exceptional—the team was supportive, patient, and very helpful. They responded promptly to my queries and ensured I made the right choices.
Delivery was smooth, well-priced, and on time. I was kept informed throughout the process.

Many thanks to Cristina and her colleagues for smooth transaction. Purchased tiles remotely from Georgia. Majority of items were in stock and transportation company was able to pick up cargo easily and quickly. Prices are very competetive and communication with Casa39 representatives has been extremely easy. I wish i could know about them earlier.

Cristina was amazing. And I had a lot of questions back and forth with my order. She was so attentive and got back to me quickly and helped me solve any issues.

Fraudulent company!

Ordered 4 different tile kinds weighing exactly 957 kg.

First difficulty was with their courier (Kühne&Nagel), who was originally hard to reach via email or phone for 4 days while already in the city of destination, but then arrived unexpectedly. Then the issues with Casa39 started.

Half of the shipment was missing while the other half was broken. We refused delivery (also as their courier said he has only received 2 types of tiles on his shipment order not 4, he said he does not care we had 4 and refused to sign that any items were missing).

When I questioned this with Casa39 and requested that they show me the original shipping order to prove 4 different types for which we paid for were shipped as per their document of delivery confirmation - not original from Kuehne+Nagel, Casa39 ignored the question and instead began pressuring me on a daily basis to accept the order. Including today, 6 days since the refused delivery and request for withdrawal from purchase contract according to the EU & Italian consumer's protection laws.

Half of order of tiles (almost 400 kg) was clearly stolen and nobody wanted to take responsibility for it, and the remaining tiles were shattered - then better push the responsibility onto the customer to accept the shipment under pressure because you are not going to get a refund.

After consulting with lawyers, we did not want to do anything with them at that point and decided to withdraw from the purchase agreement as per the EU/ Italian consumer's legal right and also in line the Casa39 sales policy stating "He/she therefore has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract, without giving reasons and without any penalty, in the following ways: within 30 days, starting from the day on which it acquires the physical possession of the goods without any penalty and without having to provide any reason (in an improvement derogation from the 14-day term provided by the Consumer Code)."

And in line that I never took physical possession of the products because delivery was refused.

Stolen shipment, broken tiles, breaking the consumer's legal right to withdrawal - they should be banned from selling any goods what so ever.

Today - they still are pushing us to accept the delivery. Unbelievable braking of the laws! To date also NO REFUND!

STAY AWAY!!!

Delivery was OK, but after-sales service is a nightmare. Box of tiles broken in consignment and they refused to reimburse. If you have a problem, the show starts. They take a long time to respond and don't look after the customer at all. I would pay extra at a local store to get a proper level of support. Dissappointing experience!

I recently made a purchase some tiles from Casa39.
At first, I was unsure about ordering from Italy since I could have just bought them locally in the Netherlands.
But Christina, the sales manager at Casa39, was really helpful. She answered all my questions, made everything clear about doubts I had about the logistics and safety of shipping and offered me a good discount.
The tiles arrived on the promised date, securely packaged with no damage whatsoever.
The package was actually insured, which was reassuring.
Plus, they were cheaper than if I had bought them here, including shipment costs.
I’m really pleased with my purchase from Casa39.
