I really like the two cases I ordered from this site. They’re high quality and look really clear and also sturdy.
Bad quality, easy warranty claim, expensive
I bought lens protector for my new iPhone in Verizon store for $30. It was advertised as "Superior lens protection", "will shield your rear camera lens from getting scratched or cracked". So I thought to invest in good quality protector for my new phone, was expecting it will work longer and protect better. No! not a good quality at all! Same as cheapest stuff from ebay. Was cracked all over in a couple weeks, I did not dropped it, just regular everyday use. I claimed a warranty. This was pretty easy, took little time. But had to pay for shipping of new replacement protector $7.00. New protector somewhere else would be cheaper, plus free shipping. Dont waste your money!

Crappy cases. Only last a couple months. Not shock absorbable. Phone cracked after dropping from a 30cm height. Yellowed within a few months and the silver on the buttons peeled off. Cheap crap.

Last year I have ordered a screen protector via the the Google store. The screen protector was of good quality. A few days ago the screen protector torn apart with no reason. Since case-mate states a lifetime warranty I have filled a claim on their site. The process was pretty simple but the outcome leaves me with a lot of question marks.
I got a discount coupon for their shop to erase the costs for the new product, but surprisingly I had to pay the shipping.
Sounds okay, but since the product has only cost about 20€ the shipping amount was at the same price 😀
They do state they'll ship all of their products with DHL Express. In my opinion this is a no go and a pretty rude strategy.

Are you kidding me? I should pay over 20€ for the shipping. This is kind of a rip of. This is nearly the price I have paid for the screen protector.
This way your warranty makes no sense, since I could just purchase a new one from Google store and pay less.
What a customer friendly procedure of your company. The way I see it, you are still earning money on a replacement.

Our warranty policy has always clearly indicated that customers may be responsible for shipping, including taxes and duties for International customers. We are pleased that we are able to offer warranty shipments internationally in a fast and efficient manner. We are able to offer DHL Express shipping with very low, partially subsidized rates to our customers.
I do not see where you have filed a claim with us before. As a one-time courtesy, we are happy to refund these fees to you after the order is placed. We do not have a way to submit the order on the back end so it has to be placed and paid for, then refunded. Please note though that on any future claims, you would be responsible for shipping and any applicable fees.

Reply to the email sent from email@ address (not no reply@ or similar) saying as such.
Automated response that reading emails is too much of a chore so instead go to their website, do all the work for them selecting the different categories of assistance required, then copy out everything just sent in the email to them already….

I would advise customers not to purchase the Lens Protector. I’m on my 3rd lens protector. When you drop your phone on the back it cracks. Tried contacting customer support but they are not accepting phone calls. I believe this protector has a flaw in the design.
The crack is always on the bottom right corner.
Absolute crap customer service
I placed an order for about 3 days no shipping information, shows order unfulfilled. Decided to contact customer service to cancel, I sent an email no reply, called the phone number, they don’t accept phone calls, same cases are available at Amazon at a cheaper price and prime shipping from case mate, we buy them expensively at their own site but can’t even offer faster shipping, then they redirect you to SHOP to see your shipping information. This site can’t show you shipping information without giving them your email and telephone number! I bought from Casemate.com and not Shop. So disgusting and annoying. I won’t buy from case mate again. Never.

I received a jelly bean strap for a Christmas gift it frayed and broke within 2 months my sisters also broke, I contacted them regarding warranty only to be given a ridiculous process which ended in finally receiving a code I could use to repurchase the item I was warned I would have to pay the shipping, once I got through to the shipping part of the check out the shipping cost had gone up to $84 which is double the price of the original item! I asked them why it was so expensive and their only reasoning was that I needed the have express shipping which I definitely do not as I’m in no rush to receive it! I’m completely let down and can believe a company would be so shameful when it comes to their own bad quality product!

I was gifted this case by my friend, who purchased this phone case at Best Buy. The button cover on the case that goes over the on /off button on the phone was literally missing from the phone case out of the box, brand new. I could only turn it on /off by putting my fingernail in the slot to access my phones on off switch.
I contacted customer service and although their site clearly states Best in Class Lifetime Warranty…good luck with that. Worst In Class Customer Service trying to obtain said warranty.
I had such a hard time getting this replaced because I didn’t have a receipt. I told them there were such things as gifts where one doesn’t purchase for themselves. Nope. They were extremely indignant, rude…..and gave me ALOT of pushback. Sorry they manufactured a case without an on off button….DUH.
Considering it was their error you think they would stand by their product and accept responsibility.
So then they tell me I have to pay 7.00 shipping. Why…because they don’t know how to make a phone case? I finally filed a complaint on BBB site (there’s tons of them) and immediately after they saw it they agreed to send me replacement no charge for shipping.
Fast forward 7 months and the exact same on off button for the case they sent me falls off. (I never dropped my phone once ever)
I contacted customer service and again they were rude and self righteous ….and told me I have to pay for shipping. Two defective/ broken cases in seven months, and somehow the customer is responsible for that???
They have zero ethics and their cases suck.
So do yourself a favor and buy from a reputable company, unless you want to be gaslit and aggravated.
Inaccurate pictures posted on site, suppress negative reviews
I received the karat marble and severely disappointed . The picture advertised on their website is different than what I actually received.
The gold flakes on the back are positioned much lower than the picture on the website. The flakes are positioned so low on the case I can see the Apple logo on the back.
The picture advertised on the website shows the flakes positioned much higher on the back of the case which is more preferable than what I received.
It’s pretty pathetic that Casemate suppresses 1 star reviews on their website. If you read the reviews for any of their product, you will see only 5 star reviews on their website. They obviously have a team that refuses to publish less than stellar reviews.
iPhone XS Max phone case from Case Mate
I ordered a phone case from a retail seller on Amazon, and paid $25 for the case. It was a beautiful case from Case Mate. Online on the website the case was pretty and perfect no defects or anything. Today I received my package in the mail, the packaging wasn’t damaged or anything, but when I took the phone case out the box, and looked at it, the phone case was damaged, It was scratched badly, I am furious. There is no way a Amazon prime or anyone who faithfully shops on Amazon like me, should ever be disrespected and given something in a horrible condition, after paying your hard honest money for it. Amazon has never did me like this, but now I’m upset times 100!!!!!

Expensive Mistake
Decided to try 2 x Case Mate Tough Clear phone cases since they claimed 10ft drop protection. Big mistake. Within 4 months both phone screens were cracked. One dropped from less than a foot, the other 3ft. Expensive mistake. Going back to Tech21.

Very poor customer service
Very poor customer service. I am now on the third day of waiting for approval of my claim for a broken belt clip/holster. I have submitted photos of the broken holster and recipe from AT&T twice and still waiting. When i had Otterbox case, they resolved the same problem with one phone call and shipped the part the same day. NO MORE PELICAN/CASEMATE for me or my associates.
