Tried a couple of online sites, but first time using Cash4Mac and they were excellent from beginning to end. UPS pick up next day, sent a message saying desktop had arrived to them, checked the machine, confirmed and sent payment. Def recommend and I'll use them again I think.

Waste of time - I had set everything up and organised a day off work to be home in time for the collection. They sent me emails with things to print etc so was all looking fine but then the day before collection, they emailed me saying that they were no longer accepting purchases and that they wouldn't be collecting. I emailed back saying this was ridiculous, and whilst they were prompt in their reply, they would not change their stance.

Despite saying they are not taking any more products you can still go on their website and make a sale which is the most frustrating part of it all.

got a quote from them, got given a collection day and when I chased they told me that they aren’t taking anymore and to try again In may: waste of time

I tried several different companies on line and Cash4Mac gave the best quote and was a simple process. They emailed a label to be put in the box, but no explanation of how it would be collected etc.
I sent an email asking if the courier would have a label, got a confusing response the following day, the answer was yes, but Cash4Mac were not currently buying!
Confused by this I went online again to see if I had missed something but no I was given the same quote
Only thing to do was call the company, it was answered by someone that did not really seem to know what was happening (it ran through my head that they maybe having financial difficulties). When the adviser found out that I had already had a quote etc. She got irritated and told me that she had emailed me and it would not be collected
So I unpacked it, removed the label and went with Mackback
3 days of unnecessary pain, I will never use this company again

Cash4mac's website is customer friendly, so it was easy to supply the necessary information. The quote was immediate, and higher than others. Making the necessary arrangements was satisfyingly simple, with a courier pickup set up for the next working day. The day following the item's arrival, the quoted figure was agreed, and the sum transferred the day following. I wish other companies were as efficient, and gave the same high quality service as this one.

Cash4mac is a brilliant company to deal with, I dropped my Imac off to them on Thursday and received the full advertised price from them in my account on Monday.

In my experience Cash4Mac provide the most reasonable prices for your devices than any other vendor on the market. Communication is done over e-mail, so be sure to check your Junk Mail. Overall I'd highly recommend this vendor over Macback and it's competitors for anyone looking to sell their tech.

Overall a good experience. Price was 10% higher than others. Process is not as slick as others, but Patricia and the team are responsive and helpful

First off I was blown away by their customer service, I called twice before sending my MacBook Air to them as I had a few queries and got through to someone straight away both times, both who were super friendly and helpful. The process with them is really easy too, and I got offered nearly double the price for my MacBook than any other company. After sending the MacBook, after two days I got confirmation they had got it and another two days later confirmation they would give me the full quoted price. Money was in my bank 48 hours later. Would recommend them and use them again.

I was selling my apple imac and looking for a no hassle quick deal so opted to try a few different buying services. Cash4mac came up with the best price, though probably not as good as an ebay selling price, but I anticipated that it would be less fuss. They also came in about 10% above music magpie.
Weighing everything up I accepted the quote and a prepaid label was emailed to me the next day. I packed up my immaculate well looked after imac in the orginal packaging and sent it off. Unlike music magpie there was an underwhelming response from that point on. I first chased Patricia from the company 3 days later (she is a director of the company) who said that my machine had not yet been tested, that they received over 20 machines a day and couldn’t really cope. My immediate thoughts were a)why accept the machines if you can’t cope and b)heck I’ve fallen for a con job.
After several more days chasing Patricia knocked down the offer price by 10% which was about £80 less and if I declined and wanted the machine back it would be ‘expensive’ unlike music magpie who send your kit back free if you decline their offer. The reason they knocked the price down was alleged screen burn which quite frankly just wasn’t true, I would have noticed screen burn in the 3 years I’ve used the machine from new with no issues.
So, the bottom line is this - the business model is to knock all offer prices down by at least 10% and because you’ve waited 5 to 7 days you’re reasonably irritated and just want the deal done. You also don’t fancy paying them to have your goods sent back at this point. Moral of the story, should have gone to music magpie or sold on ebay, all that glitters is not Patricia’s gold! (Took 7 days to get cash in my bank in the end)
