We have been employing Castle for over 20 years, and we are always delighted by their work. Underpinning Castle's approach is clear skill, attention to detail, and care. We've employed Castle on a range of projects including building a 4 bedroom house, Shepherd's Hut, and a major extension. There have also been times when we've had to contact Castle with short notice, and every time they find a solution. The owner of Castle is practical and an expert in his work, but what is particularly noteworthy is that he truly cares about his customers ensuring that the work is undertaken to a high standard. We’ve used Castle Building in Bridport for 2 recent projects and they were excellent. Highly recommended. The first project was in the garage, redoing the loft area. The guys doing the work paid attention to detail and did a great job. The second job was rebuilding the fireplace and surrounding wall. Again the project was completed on time and with great care. I will use them again.

After working with other electricians. It was a breath of fresh air to have Castle Buildings in house Electrician turn up on time and on the right day with all the parts required ( and not having to go off to the wholesaler immediately). The work was completed on time and in line with my original requirements. Happy with the outcome.

The fact that the MD said 'I never fall out with customers' 2 or 3 times before they even started work, should have been the red flag. It turns out falling out with customers is his highest skill. Castle make simple building work into a grinding and anxious trial. Terrible communication, pumped-up pricing, and totally average end results (well, actually faulty, so we're seeking compensation for dodgy plumbing). My review: AVOID.
