Ordered a pair of Toppo hiking boots. Arrived promptly, but weren’t the right fit. Spoke to Castleberg Outdoors and spoke to a very friendly lady who without any fuss just asked me to return items for a refund. How nice to find a human at the end of the a mailing order. Refund made promptly to my account. A very good service. Thank you.

Brilliant customer service. Brilliant little outdoor shop.
Bought a Paramo Caminata jacket as an impulse purchase 2 weeks ago. When I got home I realised that it wasn't right for me. I phoned the team at Castleberg to arrange an exchange for a different size (even though I couldn't get there for a whole week) they still put one aside for me. When I got there to exchange the jacket they had it ready for me.. However it still wasn't right for me. So I tried on a different style and bought the Alta 3.
The staff were great especially the lady that served me. We had a chat about what I was after and gave some great advice.
The whole experience was amazing and stress free. Even though we live quite far away Castleberg is becoming our go to outdoor shop.

Very good independent retailer.
I prefer to use independent retailers with a physical store. Great website. Lots of info and very good product range at good prices. Royal Mail delivery which I much prefer over couriers.
