I would strongly advise anyone to stay away from this Caterbay business. The owner, Andrew, has shown an appalling lack of professionalism and respect toward customers. He’s rude, dismissive, and has absolutely no manners when dealing with people.

Andrew has also handled payments and agreements in a very questionable way — demanding extra cash and going back on promises made to customers. To make matters worse, his treatment of his own staff, especially Peter (who is actually polite and helpful), is unfair and unprofessional. It’s shocking how such behavior is tolerated in a customer-facing business.

This company does not deserve even one star. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere that treats customers with honesty and respect.

I came across Caterbay by accident. Was looking to buy commercial catering equipment. They rarely appear on any searches. After seeing some of their listings I decided to pay them a visit in Preston. I truly was pleasantly surprised by the range of products they stocked, both new and second-hand.

Excellent customer service from Peter. Would highly recommend. Will definitely be using again in the future (have ready been back a second time).
