This company is horrendous
This company is horrendous! I parked at the YMCA car park in Walthamstow, left my car and started rushing to my appointment. As I have the parking app and phone details I thought I would pay for the parking as I walked. The App - didn’t work and wouldn’t allow any type of payment! I then called the number and tried to pay, the number rang then cut off! I tried multiple times.. there was obviously a fault.
Fast forward a few weeks and I’m left with a PCN which I appealed with evidence, days and times of the faults. This was rejected. Now £100 down. This company are a bunch of thieves.
This company should closed down!!
This company should closed down!!
Absolute con artist
This company is crazy
This company is crazy. I parked my car correctly, paid by the app. Yet I get a fine? Appealled and provided evidence. Appeal was rejected. I am still getting letters through my door. What kind of corrupt company is this?
If I could give no stars I would
If I could give no stars I would! This company is a disgrace, they are corrupt and are praying on people to make their money. The appeals service is unfair and unjust and the other 600+ Negative reviews on this site prove just that. They had no physical proof that I was parked, just pictures of me driving up and down a road and still perused a fine despite this. They even asked why I was driving down the road as if I needed to have permission from them. Disgusting customer service and rude staff! In addition to this I think it is very telling that when challenged they will often reduce a fine from £60 or £100 down to £20 - would a legitimate company do this? I think not.
Absolute shocker of a company!
Absolute shocker of a company!! Used the car park for under 10 minutes to stop off of a busy main road at night with double yellows all along to push a broken down car out of the road and to safety! There were no signs on the entrance stating it was a pay and display car park! Appealed and was rejected- 2 years on they’re now threatening court action over £170!! I won’t be paying.
See you in court scammers…
Absolute robber barons
Absolute robber barons. Parked legitimately in a hotel car park where I was staying overnight and was told by staff that ce were no longer operating. Then I get a fine but there's no number to phone or email address. Will speak to Merseyside Police as I consider this fraud.
What a joke!
I got a parking ticket and appealed as they incorrectly issued it - I was a member of the place in question and provided evidence. They then rejected this, suggesting I pay a reduced fee. This feels like a desperate, last-ditch attempt, as they know they don't have a leg to stand on. What a ludicrous, unprofessional and immoral company.
Threatening email from Civil Enforcement Ltd
The first I heard from this company was by letter informing me that I had not paid a parking fine and that it was too late to pay the lower rate (whatever that was?) Failure to pay the full amount of £100 within 14 days of this reminder notice may result in us proceeding with debt recovery action and/or issuing court proceedings. They have rejected my appeal despite sending supporting evidence by email as requested stating that I failed to provide it. I was 1 min 35 secs over the permitted time. Unable to make contact by telephone other than to make payment.
This company is totally abhorrent.
This company is totally abhorrent.
I received a fine for parking where I see my Mental Health consultant, whilst picking up a revised prescription.
Despite appealing with a supporting letter from my Consultant, they denied my appeal with a very aggressive letter, but offered me a reduced fine of £20. They then told me I could appeal, but to note that if I did, 86% of appeals fall in their favour & I would be liable for the full £100 fine.
This is a nasty, aggressive private parking enforcement company that should receive heavy penalties for its underhanded practices.
They make it totally impossible to make contact of any type & send threatening communications.
A nasty, nasty company run by nasty, nasty people.
I will stand up to them & will be appealing their outcome & will contact Citizens Advice to see how I can take action & draw attention to the underhand actions of this cowboy company.
Utter disgrace of a company.
A licence to print money
You can’t appeal as the site doesn’t allow it, you can’t speak to anyone as the phone number is just an automated payment line. Let’s skip ten years for all of our hard earned money to become like PPI compensation for these parking scams that are allowed to continued at this present time!
Crooks.
Crooks.
Three parties parked at the Great Hallingbury Manor Hotel, all showing permits on the dashboard provided by the hotel reception.
Each of us received parking fine notices in the post the following week. We had kept our dashboard tickets and provided them as evidence clearly showing the dates of the alleged offence were permitted by the hotel.
Civil Enforcement rejected the irrefutable evidence and offered a quick resolution for £20 - crooks.
We involved the hotel and a friendly solicitors letter.
Civil Enforcement immediately backed down.

Got parking pcm fine for illegal parking on3/7/2025.
Appealled but could not find my ticket,so they refused and offered a £20 penalty charge if I paid quickly.
Just found the ticket in the car now,one small error put a registration number in twice, but obvious belonged to my car.
Trying g to send them a photo shot but the only email is for payment or appeals.
Not really surprised.
The worst carpark
The worst carpark , scammers !!! Do not park there !!!
I received a fine from them for £100
I received a fine from them for £100, I appealed with evidence of my payment. They then rejected my appeal, and reduced the amount payable to £20 (originally £60 if I paid within 14 days), I resubmitted my appeal stating they I rejected their offer and further stated that their amended offer was clear evidence of their lack of confidence in their case. Dont give in to them
Scam company peeling on tourists
Total tourist trap. No visible signs, no pay machine anywhere around, and absolutely no clear instructions. Then they send you a £100 fine with no real chance to appeal. This is nothing but a scam operation.
Companies like this are scumbags in suits and should be banned from operating. Shame on the system that allows this kind of legalised robbery.
PCN issued to me more 2 months after the 'violation'
I had to cave in because I can't find evidence of payment for parking on 5th May (PCN issued 4th July!). It's a car park I regularly use and am aware of the charges so never even enter unless I intend to pay. The charges are impacting on local businesses - it's a small village with many retired people; the car park seems to do well at the expense of long-standing commerce. Their website then has the audacity to offer to save my card details!
:( Very bloody unhappy!
scammers or petty clock watchers
scammers or petty clock watchers, i paid for a ticket, i have the banking details to prove i paid for it. If i over -ran it wouldn't have been by much cos it was a ticket valid for at least 4 hours, and the event i was at didn't over-run.
Civil Enforcement a parking enforcement…
Civil Enforcement a parking enforcement company that may be using CCTV or ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) to issue fines, even when guests at my Mother's retirement village, have signed in properly. This is a common complaint among residents in FirstPort-managed properties
