Very mixed feelings
Very mixed feelings. The price of the accommodation is clearly in the 4-star hotel category, but without providing any hotel services. Towels have to be paid for extra... and only one roll of toilet paper is provided for the week. The outdoor furniture of the cottage was in very poor condition, and the interior in general was poorly maintained. Apart from the swimming pool, all activities come at an extra cost. The bicycles (which are also extra, of course) were — excuse my language — absolute junk (brakes, tires, bell: everything was in terrible shape). The price of activities like the 'soap making' workshop borders on the ridiculous: the activity lasted about 10 minutes, and then we were left to ourselves for 20 to 30 minutes before it was over. Finally, the equipment provided for pickleball was damaged (broken racket), and the instructions for picking up the gear lacked clarity.
All in all, I don't understand the reputation of this park, which clearly seems to be resting on its laurels.
Unlawfully keeping hold of money after a cancelled trip.
So upset.
I had to cancel our holiday due to my mother passing.
I was advised I would receive a partial refund of €762.80 from the €1082 paid.
I received €330. I opened a complaint for the rest ( you cannot talk to the department). I then received another partial refund. I called today to ask about the balance of €110+ still outstanding and was told they had closed my complaint and I have to start again.
At a time when I have so much to manage this is unacceptable.
They never reply to emails and are not interested.
Shocking company. Will never be looking to book again.
Really disappointing and shocked with the level of service
It was really disappointing. The facilities (with the exception of the water park) are run down and not well maintained. The accommodation was really run down and not well maintained. Loads of things broken or falling apart. It was stupid hot (got to 36 degrees one day) and when we complained that there was no aircon, they told us "France is not a hot country". The staff were rude and didn't help or really care. At one point we went to the climbing wall and felt as though they were doing us a favour and were put out that we prevented him from watching YouTube to ask a question. I could not believe it. The cherry on top was the water park where they had 2-3 large men dressed in black who were forcing people (including women on their own) to remove clothing because apparently you can't wear a t-shirt or shorts when entering the water park due to health and saftey. Did they make sure that those people continued to not wear those things after the entrance. of course not. So what on earth is the point. They also did not explain why they were doing that but just pointed to a non descript picture of different bathing suits that are appropriate. When I googled it, because none of their staff could explain. its apparently to stop people wearing loose clothing. This was not explained at all and was not clear on the signs but equally they are basically saying that people can't just go into this place with their family and sit on chair. This is only a Center Parcs EU thing. So either the UK one is putting peoples lives at risk as well as every other water park around the world or Health and safety risks only happen in European Center Parcs resorts. This is frankly disgusting and I would avoid them on this basis alone!

Extremely disappointed with how my complaint was handled
I booked Center Parcs Villages Nature Paris through Hotels.com in April 2026 for a family holiday. One of the main reasons I chose this property was because the Hotels.com listing advertised a children’s club/childcare facility available for an additional charge and we were looking forward to some R&R after spending a busy 5 days in Paris & Disneyland.
After booking, I contacted Center Parcs to find out how to reserve this facility, only to be told that the children’s club is no longer offered. I also discovered that, because I booked through a third party, I would not be able to reserve activities until just 2 days before arrival, whereas guests booking directly with Center Parcs can book activities 6 weeks in advance. This restriction was not mentioned during the booking process.
I contacted Hotels.com expecting them to investigate the accuracy of the information provided at the time of booking. Unfortunately, despite providing evidence and explaining the situation several times, my complaint was repeatedly treated as a simple request to cancel a non-refundable booking. I only received generic responses, which was extremely frustrating.
After spending 90 minutes on the phone (mainly on hold) with the 'higher department', I was told the listing supposedly stated the children’s club was closed, but no evidence was provided and none of my concerns about the information shown at the time of booking were addressed. I was also told there was no higher department to escalate my complaint to.
I am extremely disappointed that Hotels.com has not taken responsibility for investigating whether their listing was accurate when I booked. This has left me feeling that customer concerns are not genuinely reviewed and that the focus is simply on enforcing cancellation policies rather than resolving issues fairly.
I would strongly encourage customers booking through Hotels.com to carefully check that advertised facilities are still available and to be aware that third-party bookings may have restrictions that are not highlighted.
First and definitely last time at Center Parcs
We paid €1,300 for two nights for two adults and two children, including full board.
First of all, there were no towels in the cottage. I understand that I may have missed the information saying that towels had to be booked and paid for separately, but honestly, at €650 per day for a family of four, this feels ridiculous. For that price, you can book a luxury all-inclusive hotel where basic items such as towels are naturally included.
Our accommodation was advertised as a “New Design” cottage, yet it had no air conditioning. I find it difficult to understand how recently renovated accommodation, especially at this price level, can be designed without air conditioning.
The cottage was also very dirty when we arrived, and the beds were not made. Again, these may technically be optional services, but the overall experience simply did not match the premium price.
Aqua Mundo was completely average. It is nowhere near the standard of Rulantica or even Miramar. It was overcrowded, extremely stuffy inside, and generally not particularly impressive.
For €1,300 for two nights, we expected a much higher standard of cleanliness, comfort and service. Unfortunately, the value for money was extremely poor, and we will not return.
Rat family under our decking
Where to start, we were there from 10 - 17th July during a heatwave. Only 1 fan provided for a family of 5, apparently they no longer rent air con units as they’re an eco park, but folk travelling by car are now bringing their own as it’s really too hot, over 30 degrees indoors. Add to this the rat family we had living under our decking which meant we couldn’t leave our doors and windows open or relax outside. All reported to reception staff multiple times, and nothing happened. Also broken coffee machine, again reported and nothing happened. A lot of money spent for very poor accommodation, I’d advise to stay anywhere else.
Stayed at Villages Nature and although…
Stayed at Villages Nature and although the area is scenic, there appears to be a severe lack of training of the staff. Pony riding was booked but limited information was provided at the booking centre. This resulted in numerous families attending without the proper requirements. On the Pony Ride, the staff seem very limited considering these weren’t ponies but large horses. One member of staff was suppose to supervise 10 children on large horses with adults without any proper training.
Pool appeared dirty in areas.
Bistro restaurant completely forgot our main order, which resulted in us leaving our table without food due to 2.5 hours passing between our children having their main meals and us requesting an update on our food.
Staff really are limited and don’t seem to care.
Centre park badge on the website but this is certainly not centre parcs that we know from the UK. We will be going back to Euro Camps on the next holiday to France.
Centre parcs Normandy poor quality
Nice surroundings but cottage was shabby, security lock on patio was broken off, patio decking was badly damaged, worst was toaster tripped the electrics and we had to explain that this needed urgent attention as we had a fridge full of food. The electrics were reinstated but the toaster left. Next day same again, we took the toaster to reception and asked them to sort electrics, new toaster was delivered but electricity not restored.
Don’t bother with cocoon restaurant, cold stale poor quality food an absolute embarrassment to French cooking.
In all a very poor quality resort. We won’t go back.
Don’t
Don’t. Just don’t book center Parc in France. Very disappointed. Terrible maintenance, not clean, bad smell in the bathroom. Super tiny kitchen which is hidden well in the pictures. Massive leakage in the whirlpool bath. Rude attitude and terrible service. We shall never return. Just don’t come near here.

We stayed in nature village France
We stayed in nature village France. We stayed in a v.i.p apartment there was nothing v.i.p about it. As I walked up to it it was filthy on the outside rubbish and cobwebs everywhere the windows didn’t look like they had ever been cleaned. Walked in and the smell was terrible smelt like shit after a while we realised this smell was the drains. The toilet was disgusting has stains at the bottom of it.The duvets were full of stains luckily we didn’t have to use them as the weather was hot. The shower in the wet room we couldn’t use as the water didn’t drain properly, the jacuzzi had dirt stains in the bottom. The whole apartment in my opinion just was not clean.

This place is just awful
This place is just awful. The lodges are so dated and dirty. I didn’t take my shoes off in the lodge all week! The bath was yellow, grim! There’s a huge lack of staff which is bordering on dangerous. My children 12,9 did the high adventure ropes and were left unsupervised to clip themselves onto the zip line across the lake. My daughter got stuck hanging and screaming in fear but it takes so long to get some help from a staff member with bad attitude. Once across the lake on an island, still no staff to help them and supervise. It was a very stressful activity as my children needed help up there and they had people shouting from all directions trying to explain how to do it but it just wasn’t working. In hindsight, I am extremely grateful we didn’t need medical attention or any other emergency assistance as I really don’t know how we would have got this. You just do not see any staff anywhere and there is no phone in the lodge. The pool is ok, no slides like the UK and it annoyed me that people were allowed their phones on them to film/take photos in the pool. That’s a huge safeguarding issue for me. My advice is to avoid this place and book the UK or Belgium resort.

Entirely unhelpful, total lack of flexibility
We booked in error for Center Parcs Les Bois-Francs instead of Center Parcs Le Bois aux Daims due to the similarity in names - realising our error seconds after the booking was made.
We had a terrible customer service experience and - after frequent follow up over the phone, email and WhatsApp - finally faced a complete refusal to make any kind of gesture to adjust the booking or even give us a voucher we could spend on experiences in the correct Center Parcs.
Judging by the negative reviews here and elsewhere I see we are not alone.
So disappointing.

Wrong date couldnt be changed
We recently booked two Day Passes for Aqua Mundo Villages Nature through your website. We had selected July 20th as the date of our visit. However, after selecting the date and proceeding with the booking, the page refreshed and automatically changed the date to July 21st — likely because July 20th was fully booked. Unfortunately, we did not notice this change at the time of purchase.
When we arrived at Aqua Mundo on July 20th, we were informed that our tickets were only valid for July 21st, and that there was nothing the staff could do to help us on-site.
We fully understand that it was our responsibility to check the date before confirming the booking. However, it is quite unfair that we are unable to get a refund or even change the date — especially when this happened partly because of how your website automatically updates when a date is sold out.
Unfortunately, we could not visit on July 21st as we were continuing our travels.
We have tried to write you a claim but no response for 3 weeks.

Disappointed
The accommodation itself was good as we were in new cabins but we were 1.5 kilometres from the centre and no air con . we were a family of 5 kids are 8,6&4. We arrived on a Friday and tried to go the aqua center standing out side in the heat queuing to get in but it didn’t open for 2 hours later than planned because of issues with staff which seems to be an issue across the whole site. Nothing opens on time, tables and surroundings of restaurants are not kept clean. Certain pools in the aqua center were also closed because of staffing. There was nothing to do at night time. The best days we had were when we went to Paris. The sprinkler that plays to music was supposed to be in every day but it wasn’t. Rats running up to the decking at accommodation so you could not sit outside at ease. Very disappointed, I will not be returning

Poor service and no fan during a very hot stay
We stayed at Villages Nature Paris during a very hot period, and unfortunately, there was no fan in our cottage. We asked the reception right after check-in, but it took them ages to reply, and we never received one. Despite calling multiple times, there was no proper follow-up, and we were left to deal with the heat, which made our stay very uncomfortable.
The reception staff lacked information, didn’t seem to care, and nobody ever apologized to us. It was also clear that no one checks the cottages properly before guests arrive, as missing items like fans (which should be available in extreme heat) are not noticed or provided.
This level of service was disappointing, especially for a resort like this. We expected better from Center Parcs and hope they improve their guest support and responsiveness in the future.

Hello
Booked 2 cottages 8 person and 6 person for a family birthday celebration
Paid my balance today and only then realised that my booking has been changed to 4x 2 bedrooms which is not suitable for my family holiday
We booked the larger cottage so we could put the children to bed and spend the evenings together and also wanted to room to be together
I have not been contacted or asked whether changing my booking would be acceptable they just done it
When checking how much the cost would have been to book a 4 pers vip cottage it is showing a lot less than the my booking shows
Really not happy about this and think should either be given option to cancel or given more compensation
Had to write this on trust pilot as unable to get any help from the customer service
Fun for everyone (11-44)
Center Parcs - Les Bois-Francs
Arrived 11:00pm, check in still open, excellent. Sadly no restaurants or delivery services open so 4 hungry travellers.
VIP cottage (#785) was clean but a little dated in places. No oven just microwave, gas hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, usual kitchen utensils.
Main bathroom was clean and recently(ish) fitted, although the shower door didn’t close properly. Sauna in bathroom was very good, easily operated and great place to dry wet things.
Both bedroom beds were 7/10, fresh bedding but bedsheet was only just big enough for the matress, so every morning we woke up skin-on-matress rather than skin-on-bedsheet. Master bedroom’s bathroom was 4/10, just old, toilet seat very loose, crack in the pan, shower located in bathtub, screen didn’t stay closed, just awkward really.
Hired an E-car (golf buggy) for the 7 days at €249, what good fun and useful to keep us dry in the rain (comes with massive rain cover). Parking available close to chalet, dome, sports hall, brilliant.
The dome needs more seating, lots of people, not nearly enough seats. Water warm and clean, lots of slides and rides, good fun for all. Not allowed to bring your own food into the swimming paradise
Though seems odd. We did sneakily though, got caught, told to eat in the cafe seating area so no big deal.
Sports: Padel tennis, badminton, table tennis, archery. Archery is about €80 for family of four 30mins !!!

Take your money and run
Booked for a lovely family holiday but unfortunately needed to cancel due to a cancer diagnosis. Cancelled the booking well within the cancellation period. Refund was due in 14 days but no sign of the money after repeated calls. The last thing a family wants when worrying about a relative. In my trip advisor review they asked me to contact them immediately which I did. Promised an emergency payment last friday which has not turned up. Now being asked to wait another week. Dont reply to their emails or seem to care. Avoid this company!

Absolutely disgusting attitude and…
Absolutely disgusting attitude and behaviour. No empathy shown.
Despite paying for the Flex Your Stay insurance Centerparcs still wanted to charge £699 for changing my booking by a week, despite having loads of availability.
Full story - my wife has been waiting for a hospital appointment to see a consultant for the past 10 months. Typically, the appointment date came through for when we would be away. Called Centerparcs, because it was after the 27 days limit according to their T&C's I have to pay £699. As it happens the week after was slightly cheaper so I'd have to wait for that refund to come through, we are talking about £27 in relation to that.
Point is, these people had no empathy or are capable about making a human decision about doing what's right or actually helping people due to genuine circumstances. All the person could say was "it's all in our T&C's and if I wanted to complain I'd have to write in".
To top the issue, they cancelled a water sports activity that we booked and paid for as they had not maintained the condition of their lake and were concerned about the water quality!!!!!!!! - guess what, it's up to me to claim the refund, they don't process it automatically!
Dreadful behaviour, attitude - obviously its just all about income.
I would not recommend Centerparcs as a holiday/break.
Hope this helps.
