Company revoked my paid lifetime license with little notice and no explanation except "Pay us more money lol"

Cerberusapp simply deletes users' license without any agreement. One day I login into my account and it shows that it does not even exist. Please restore my account: vannb

'lifetime license' lulled me into a false sense of security - just lost my phone and I can't use it or even pay for the damn extra license on top of the lifetime one, as the account has been deleted and I need to access the app to bring it back. What a joke, hope they go under.

Crooks. Sold "lifetime licenses" and without warning cancelled them. Search the Internet and you will find hundreds of angry users who got ripped off.

They have no respect with their customers.
They simply removed the lifetime license that we bought.

I've bought the Cerberus a few years ago. But now my "lifetime" license has been expired without any reason.

Cerberus just notified that my lifetime license has expired. This is ridiculous. I paid 2.99 EUR in 2013 and now i get an email that it is expiring.

What a joke had this app when it first came out, paid for a lifetime license to support the development of the app then get an email with 0 days warning saying my license was basically revoked and you now have to pay a month subscription.

Well screw you Cerberus.

Liar liar pants on fire! We are going to call your bluff. You have lost all respect. I bought into the lifetime membership! No you cancel me? I'm not dead? I want a refund! You guy's are pathetic cheap skates! Go F yourself!

If you cant trust this company to abide by their own terms of service and cancel a lifetime subscription, then please dont trust them with your most valuable data and grant them access to your phone.

Revoking licenses for paid products without a warning!

Cancelled lifetime my license. Won't respond to emails. Second bait and switch the company pulled.

I paid for a lifetime license. Got a confirmation from Cerberus that I had a lifetime license. Now they just cancelled my lifetime license and want me to pay again !! They do not respect the contract and do not keep their word: for me this is fraud. I will never do business again with them and am happy to see that there are many alternatives in the Google Play store (so good to see that Cerberus no longer is allowed in the Google Play store ! ).
This is true Italian maffia practices.

In the past week or so they started expiring all of the paid lifetime licenses, often only emailing people the day of the sudden expiration.

After multiple emails over the years saying they would honor those early adopters even as they moved to a subscription based model, this is completely shady of them.

Do not trust this company with your phone's security.

Don't give them your money, they are not to be trusted

When you sell lifetime licences and then even confirming via mail the change to subscription based payment model will not affect you because you have a lifetime license, but in the end still revoke my license... You have a shady company and mindset. Especially for a company that deal with so many sensitive information of their clients. They really think I still thrust them after this joke and pay a yearly contribution? I am deleting this app and hope I save some other people this trouble by looking for another app that does the job, but then honestly
