Not recomennded for any international service

I tried to order 20 photobooks to be delivered to Norway for an event I’m organizing. The process turned out to be extremely frustrating.

First, I was told the invoice address cannot be abroad. When I tried ordering from cewe of the country I’m currently in and delivering to Norway, that also wasn’t possible. Then I tried placing the order without an invoice and just paying normally, but the payment still failed. Customer service suggested it might be due to foreign bank details, but the error actually appeared even before I entered any bank information.

Customer support has been slow, confused, and not very helpful, and the ordering system itself is very difficult to use. The only solution suggested in the end was to have someone pick up the order and pay in a physical store for an order of significant cost.

Overall, a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend it.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We sincerely apologize that the ordering process turned out to be frustrating.

To choose delivery to Norway, the order must be placed through CEWE.no. Unfortunately, it is not possible to order via, for example, CEWE.dk and have the order delivered to Norway.

If you have created your project using the software downloaded to your PC/Mac, or in our app for phone/tablet, it is possible to transfer your project to the respective country by downloading the program for the destination country, or by changing the country settings in the app. However, if the project was created directly on the website, delivery is unfortunately only possible within the country associated with that website.

We fully understand how frustrating it can be to experience issues with an order, especially when you are trying to place a large order for an event. We hope and believe our customer service did everything they could to assist, but unfortunately, in this case there were no available options to resolve the situation differently.

As there is no customer information included in this review, we are unable to see any order history or email correspondence. We do hope that the matter was eventually resolved, and otherwise you are always welcome to contact us again

A personal review for Vivi at CEWE.No

This is a personal review for everyone at CEWE Norway, but especially Vivi. I am English and live in London UK. Obviously, my Norwegian is non-existent but I tried my best with the assistance of Google translate to weave my way through the Norwegian software and website so that I could send a photobook that I had created on the UK CEWE site to my good friend in Norway. It was record of a recent trip we had together visiting the wonderful Bauhaus Design Centre in Dessau, Germany. Unfortunately, CEWE does not let you send gifts to friends in other countries unless you download the destination country’s software and upload your book on their software.

After a valiant effort of translations, I was stuck and not even Mr Google could help me. But Vivi came to the rescue. Through a series of screenshots and very clear instructions in English she guided me through the process and now my book is being produced in Norway and sent to my friend in Oslo as a Christmas gift. All the books I have produced with CEWE, and there are many, have been first class and the people at CEWE are very responsive and always there to help you. So, a very big thank you to all at CEWE worldwide, but a special thanks to Vivi, Norway.
