Went in the new chaiiwala in crawley

Went in the new chaiiwala in crawley. Guys, if you order and then take it home, don't leave the store without opening and checking every order. I ordered for collection £59 worth of food. Got home to find out that the box with mac & cheese was not full was a HUGE scam it had 13 pasta shells in it. Toddler portion. The samosa chaat had a quarter samosa and just chaat. Very soggy Basically these people are ripping customers off. I was furious 😠 😡 so phoned up the guy that served and he WAS AS HELPFUL AS A HOLE IN THE HEAD. the best he could come out with, we only give 250grams of pasta. Hmmmm i thought lets weigh it 25grams. Yet the picture shows full box.You can speak to the manager at 9pm but to leave a name number HUGE INCONVENIENCE. guys we've all been to a chaiiwala wherever it may be. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THESE TOSSERS NO SHAME AT ALL. I HAVE REPORTED THESE GUYS TO FOOD STANDARDS AGENCY, THE COUNCIL, AN MANY OTHER PEOPLE COZ WHAT I ORDERED WAS FOR ELDERLY FAMILY I WAS HIGHLY EMBARRASSED THAT DAY I ORDERED. SHUT DOWN THIS CHAIIWALA YOU PUT ALL THE OTHER CHAIIWALAS TO SHAME YOU RIP OF MERCHANTS. ASKED FOR REPLACEMENT, HMM NO! NO SUCH THING AS CUSTOMER SERVICE. FELT LIKE GOING IN AND GRABBING THE LADY ORDERING PEOPLE ABOUT, BY HER NECK WHO PUT MY ORDER TOGETHER. ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES. CHANGE THE SHOPS NAME TO ADDA ADDA FOOD. SUITS YOU BETTER.

Cold tasteless food with very small portions. Frozen food barely heated! Not living up to the hype at all and a total rip off as I spent £65 on a delivery from the Crawley Branch! Very poor service and won’t be buying from here ever again!!!

Very long wait for 2 teas that were so sweet that they were not drinkable. The food was cold and very over cooked. We asked if we could have a new order but we were told thst we'd have to pay again.
There was no cutlery available and all the tables were full of old plates. This place looked so promising but we will not be returning.

No toilets ! Chaiwala - Slough high street

No toilets or there are toilets but they always come up with an excuse. Such as toilet is broken or we are waiting for someone to service it.... This is disgraceful and shows no respect for the paying customers. You should be ashamed to lie every time someone ask to use your toilets.

i do not recommend --

i do not recommend ---My recent experience at Rochdale Milkstone Road Chaiwala was a complete nightmare. Despite ordering 3 pink chais, 1 karak chai, and a kunafe cheesecake, I was dismayed to find upon arriving home—a 35-minute drive away—that I had been given the wrong cake. When I contacted the store to rectify the mistake, I was met with dismissive and unhelpful responses from a staff member named Sayeed. Despite explaining the inconvenience I had already endured, I was simply told to return to the store to collect the correct order. Following Sayeed's advice to order through UberEats, I was further frustrated when I discovered I had been misled into paying for unnecessary items and additional fees, amounting to a total loss of £10.45. Despite my repeated requests to speak with the manager, I was met with indifference and excuses. This lack of accountability and professionalism from the establishment is truly disheartening. I am adamant about receiving a full refund for the incorrect order and additional expenses incurred, as well as a formal apology from management. My experience at Rochdale Milkstone Road Chaiwala was nothing short of a disaster, and I strongly advise others to steer clear of this establishment to avoid similar frustrations.

Appalling Service and Unprofessionalism at Rochdale Milkstone Road Chaiwala

I recently had the misfortune of visiting Rochdale Milkstone Road Chaiwala, and my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. Upon placing an order for 3 pink chais, 1 karak chai, and a kunafe cheesecake, I was handed the wrong cake upon my return home, which was a 35-minute drive away.

The ensuing customer service debacle was nothing short of a comedy of errors. When I contacted the store to rectify their mistake, I was met with a dismissive and unhelpful attitude from a staff member named Sayeed. Despite my clear explanation of the situation and the inconvenience I had already endured, I was told that the only solution was for me to return to the store to collect the correct order.

In an attempt to salvage the situation, I followed Sayeed's suggestion to order through UberEats, an app I don't even use. This decision only added insult to injury, as I was misled into paying for an unnecessary karak tea and an additional delivery fee, bringing my total loss to £10.45.

Despite my repeated requests to speak with the manager, namely Osman, I was met with indifference and excuses. It is utterly appalling that this establishment not only failed to take responsibility for its mistakes but also displayed a complete lack of empathy and professionalism in dealing with a dissatisfied customer.

In conclusion, my experience at Rochdale Milkstone Road Chaiwala was a complete disaster. I demand a full refund for the incorrect order and the additional expenses incurred due to their incompetence. Furthermore, I expect a formal apology from management for the distress and inconvenience caused. If these demands are not met satisfactorily, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter further and seek appropriate recourse.

Save yourself the trouble and avoid this establishment at all costs.

A Flavorful Journey

Gem

Chaiiwala has become our go-to breakfast spot during our annual visits to the UK from Belgium. The staff is amazing, the food is fantastic, and the tea is unparalleled. The women at the counter are always friendly, making each visit a great experience. Highly recommend!

Date of visit - 24 Dec 2023

I ordered from just eat on the above date like I have ordered time and again.

On this occasion, I ordered 2 Karak Chaii's and a Chicken Sausage Roll.

It was meant to be Chicken Sausage Roll, I was only sent a burnt Sausage. No pastry around it at all!

They did not even attempt to tell me why they sent a Sausage on it's own.

I had to throw it away.

Not happy as I was charged for it and just eat didn't refund me.

Chaii wala Walsall the worst place to…

Chaii wala Walsall the worst place to go, they took order for gulab jamun, after paying and sitting on seats they said it’s finished. When they brought paratha it was the frozen one which they fried. Rest of chaii wala in Manchester and Birmingham have proper paratha. They did pay back for paratha and for gulab jamun they exchanged ice cream but that’s not what we came for. Costumer needs to be notified before paying about the availability of the items and which kind of items they use

Chaiwala Hatters Way Luton

Chaiwala Hatters Way Luton.

Manager is Stupid. I left my stuff on table because I was on call just outside the resturant. He picked my stuff from the table and took in his office and when I asked him he returned telling me not to leave anything on the table its not allowed in an ordering way.

Another day I went in toilet when I come back I lost my tea. Then they make new for me.

As an experienced professional and the industry he is working in he should use some brain.

Chaiiwalla an absolute Gem

Chaiiwala in watford shopping mall is an absolute chillout among coffee shops, I have been visiting this shop from the time its opened in watford, the warm inviting atmosphere from the staff working there makes it special, all the staff are very cordial and helpful , special thanks to Matthew, George, Jeremiah, Kunal and others. What sets Chaiiwala apart is not just the Indian food ,tea or cozy ambience which resembles India but also the attentive service of the staff, making it a must-visit for those seeking a fusion of exceptional taste and a welcoming ambiance- Thank you to all staff- your faithful customer -vinay

I think the tea is the only good item on their menu. I have tried almost every other item and must say that flavour wise, it's pretty average and pricewise, expensive.
I won't recommend this to anyone.
