Don't trust this dealer

Bought X2 (AO68FFB) with a trust as it is a BMW dealer. Now during tyre change at Costco Hayes found they had put a glued sensor in the tyre. I have emailed but so far no response

STAY AWAY! DO NOT TRUST THESE LIARS.

STAY AWAY! DO NOT BUY A USED CAR FROM THEM! Would give no stars if possible.
Sold me a car that I was assured had a full BMW service history to only find out 3 years later when I am trying to sell, that it does not. I have spoken to two other reputable BMW garages (Stephen James & Sytner) who confirmed this. Chandlers BMW/ Group 1 have now informed me that a service was conducted by an independent garage (NOT BMW) and still falls under their 'approved used cars', but cannot confirm that is has a full BMW Service history. I have since spoken directly with BMW UK customer services and they have also confirmed this is a lie. Therefore any garage I speak to cannot give me the full value of the car. Which, also means I also overpaid for the car in the first place as it was sold having something it does not. DO NOT TRUST OR BUY ANYHTING FROM THEM, THEY RUIN BMWs NAME.

You have a lost a customer

BMW had my car a couple of months ago for an MOT, they failed me on wipers, which they charged me £82 for wipers.
I almost died, they made it difficult for me when I ask to provide my own and was basically bullied into buying their expensive 💩 wipers and honestly they are utter 💩

NOT A SINGLE ADVISORY ON MY MOT!

2 months later a service light comes up and back she goes, while at BMW she was fine and as soon as I collected her…. I was told about Brakes, pads , coils, suspensions etc that needs replacing asap 😳 had no idea and no mention when they had her 2 months ago, I find this very strange 🤔

This morning I received a lovely email from BMW asking £1500 for brakes and pads
😅😂🤣

I believe that this company purposely mess with your car while they have it and that’s how they make their money because my car was absolutely fine until I started taking it to BMW.

Don’t use BMW!!!!
Find yourself a good mechanic because this company will absolutely bankrupt you!
Support your local garage and not these hungry vultures!

Stop ripping people off you greedy 👺

Brighton BMW Motorad BIG THANKS

This review is based on the Motorad side of the dealership (motorcycles).
My 2017 R1200RT suffered a large mechanical malfunction. Bradley the Motorad service advisor at Group1 in Brighton looked after me superbly.
Contacting BMW head office on my behalf and forwarding on all the details of the failure.
BMW then picked up the tab as a good will gesture, and Bradley through Group1 did all the work and returned the bike to me in as a quicker time as was possible.
I didn't buy the bike from them, and appeared as a new used BMW customer to them, that didn't matter being the BMW shop front for Brighton they stepped up and dealt with everything.
Thanks Bradley it was much appreciated and I am so glad to be back on 2 wheels.

Don’t believe their sales video

BMW Hailsham described a used car as superb. Put a deposit on and travelled 112 miles to find the convertible roof riddled in algae and green moss. Asked for my deposit back and complained. Used car sales manager said I was pedantic like him. He may be I am not just like a reasonably clean car and and an apology for my wasted journey. Staff ignored us as they were more intererested in a new vehicle
being delivered. So pleased other BMW dealers know what good customer service is!

Don’t believe those phoney 5 stars here

If I could have left no stars at all that would have been more accurate. It’s most interesting that BMW Chandlers don’t appear to have ‘claimed’ this page (as the authentic reviews are uniformly terrible) yet, on the other hand, certain customers (if you believe they genuinely are such) suddenly pop up with 5 stars. Miraculous. And fortunate.
What I can tell you is that this dealership has managed to turn a BMW customer of over 20 years standing (most recently the owners of a new 840i soft top), into an ex-customer. Just appalling on so many levels I won’t bore you with them all here. Suffice to say we shall be taking our (pretty big) bucks elsewhere to better brands with infinitely better customer relations. What a shoddy performance.

Chandlers is a simple must not…

I haven't the words for Chandlers BMW Hailsham. Charged me 250 over my excess following bodywork now I need to reclaim this. They didn't care of course. My wheel refurb was like orange peel with paint drips also and wrong lacquer used. Every excuse to charge for new parts is used. For example if brakes have sensors they will always need replacing! More recently they failed my MOT on tyres without question before completing my warranty checks and major service. The MOT was valid for longer but the failure left me with driving the car illegally as my only option. Needless to say they couldn't supply the tyres either for 7 to 10 days. The condescending attitude beggars belief. The only redeeming aspect is that I bought a 420I from them once. I have bought a new M4 every year for the past two years and next year my third but never at Chandlers without a massive change and substantial apology. I haven't discussed technical ability following my recent debacle as I was given the wrong front tyre sizes leaving me in another position. I checked expecting incompetence following previous experience. A useful supplier will fit correct size tyres this afternoon as they go the extra mile. Disgusted with Chandlers.

NOT good service.

I was considering leasing a BMW from Chandlers at Brighton.
A pal of mine just obtained a series one and I thought what a good idea for future.
Keep an up to date car and no depreciation concerns.
Contacted Chandlers who at first very helpful and then had an email from one of their employees asking what "deposit" I wanted to put down but I had no idea of how much so mentioned that it was just an idea at present and can you let me know what deposit required, and said I looked forward to response and then nothing!
Another pal has just bought a used M4 from Chandlers and when I mentioned them he said he had problems with them as well. I am now looking at a different make to lease. NOT the best of experiences and to think I once bought a used car from them (Hailsham) and got taken for a ride almost every time it went wrong plus they never seem to return calls and at the time I did a review stating that when you are in the showroom they are fine but once you leave you are on your own. Even a national newspaper car expert at the time said he was surprised at some of the service and repair cost's they charged.
