Went to the Crab and Lobster at Bembridge on the Isle of Wight and ordered half lobster salad (£27) and crab salad (£22) for my wife. There was so little lobster on my plate (less than 2 forkfuls) that I felt £27 for what amounted to 99% salad was really taking the mick! My wife offered me some of her crab, but even that didn't amount to much for the price. I have had lobster at other restaurants before, but never as little for such a high price as today. Fish and chips is expensive at £17pp too. Total rip off IMO!

hi went to the CRAB&LOBSTER,bembridge. i.o.w 19/9. my partner had a steak that cost £23 ( they know how to charge like a wounded bull).. it was unedible, stringy & basically shoeleather.. the night previous my partner had a steak in THE CRAB IN SHANKLIN £15 that was superb 🤷‍♂️so its NOT always the cost goes with the quality eh C&L??.. secondly we were served by a member of staff that we will call (peter).. had to be 5 letters beginning with P, peter ? has a ponytail & he was incredibly rude as we bought our chihuahua with us for the evening as the C&L is supposedly?🤷‍♂️? dog friendly. ponytail pete needs to learn very quickly that not only does he need his hair chopped to stop it dangling in the food, he needs to sharpen up his manners VERY QUICKLY or else he will receive a short sharp lesson 1 day soon. all in all a very disappointing evening that left my partner upset.. thank you for nothing C&L.. think twice people before thinking top prices means top quality. IT REALLY DOESNT...
