Great customer service! Alex was very friendly, knowledgeable, and over the top customer service. I took my road bike and mountain bike, and he did such a great job!

Thanks so much for the wonderful service when renting 2 bikes from you last week. They were fabulous bikes and Jack was very helpful and accommodating with our problem of storage of the bikes overnight and also with the after hours return of them.
I have to say that Jack was extremely enthusiastic and helpful in every way possible.
We had a wonderful 2 days cycling around the Purbecks and we can t thank you enough.
I will be telling my bike riding friends back in Australia about the spectacular areas to cycle in Dorset and about the best place to rent a bike.

Just wanted to say thanks a lot.

I clicked my order at 2pm yesterday and was cycling to work with my new saddle fitted at 9am this morning.

Amazing turnaround time, great price and a great saddle.

...they'd want to be taking lessons from Charlie and his staff!

Called them up on Thursday lunchtime and spoke to Sam who guided me towards the products I needed based on his own personal use and experience. Explained I needed/wanted it all for this weekend, and it turned up within 24hrs at no extra expense.

Had a great fun and informative chat while ordering, and really am a very happy customer. Next time I'll have to swing down the shop in person...

Enthusiastic, positive, knowledgeable, a pleasure to do business with. But enough about me, what's this shop like? Well, luckily exactly the same. I called today on spec for some advice about saddles and spoke to Jack who was able to give me all the info I needed, was more than happy to talk through options in detail, and offered the product I'd been considering at an extremely competitive price. Needless to say my order is in and I will be back again - just wish they were my local bike-shop, allegedly they do a pretty mean cup of coffee too!

A old bloke with a perm who will try his best to butter your bum.

Specialist knowledge, enthusiastic and very helpful. Highly recommended.

Things which make a Bikemonger:
- Knows about bikes from actual experience riding them, unlike most bike shop owners.
- Puts on good events to keep you engaged.
- Works hard, parties harder.
- Good taste in food and wine (essential).
- Actually stocks interesting things you'd want to buy and own. Not just generic stuff.
- There's a sofa in the shop. Comfy one.
- Complimentary ball-lube in the toilet (possibly double dipped by Sam though - beware).
- Perfect balance of cynical and positive/upbeat.

Tl:Dr.... This is a proper, damn fine bike shop.

Great place. I went in, bought some Bum Butter ando talked about cake. Lovely bunch of guys, down to Earth, true cyclists that actually know what they are on about. If you are in South England, travel to see them.

Am buying difficult to find items from Charlie. Love the free stickers and the great service!

I recently Bought a Surly Wednesday From these guys. I couldn't be happier with the service that I received! There was a bit of an issue with finding this bike, and Charlie went above and beyond to get things figured out for me. I am currently living in Slovakia, and it has been tough for me to find this rig. These guys had what I needed and got it solved fast! Totally took care of me. Couldn't be more satisfied!
