Check24 is now playing games with their rental car site
I used Check24 every time I flew to Frankfurt, Germany, without complaint. However, I have been trying to book a rental car through Check24 for my trip in July 2026. Their site shows a rental that meets my criteria, and I click it. But then I am told that this rental is no longer available. Nonetheless, the same rental repeats with the same result again, and again, and again. So obviously, Check24 is now playing a game that has already caused me to begin to look for another provider who isn't interested in wasting my time but rather is interested in allowing me to find a rental at the lowest price available that meets my criteria.

Die Buchung über CHECK24 verlief zunächst problemlos – aber als es darauf ankam, war keinerlei Unterstützung vorhanden.
Nachdem der Mietwagenanbieter das Fahrzeug nicht bereitgestellt hat, hing ich 36 Minuten in der Hotline, ohne dass eine tragbare Lösung angeboten wurde.
Als Vermittler sollte CHECK24 Verantwortung übernehmen und Kunden in solchen Situationen unterstützen. Stattdessen wurde ich komplett allein gelassen und musste zusätzliche Kosten (Taxi zum Hotel) selbst tragen.
Für mich ist das ein klares Versagen im Kundenservice. Ich werde künftig nicht mehr über CHECK24 buchen.
Very poor customer support when it actually matters.
The booking process via CHECK24 was smooth, but when a problem occurred, there was no real support. After the rental company failed to provide the car, I spent 36 minutes on the hotline without any solution being offered.
As an intermediary, CHECK24 should take responsibility and support customers in such situations. Instead, I was left completely on my own and had to cover additional costs (taxi to the hotel).
This is a clear failure in customer service. I will not use CHECK24 again.

I rented a car through them. When I got there, the place was overbooked and had no cars for the next two days. When asked for a refund they asked me to fiel a claim, this was ten days ago, the demand you have the invocie for another rental conmpany to get the money for a service they were not able to provide. I still have not received my money they are "reviewing" my claim. I have put it through my bank and I will be reporting them to trading standars! I then went to booking.com and got a car no bother. Just go to reputable websites, avoid these scammers!
