We get why that’s frustrating. Chasing quotes and hearing nothing back is the last thing you want when you’re trying to get a job sorted.
Tradespeople manage their own availability, but you should still be getting replies and updates rather than being left waiting.
If you’re still looking, it can help to repost the job with a bit more detail or contact a few tradespeople directly through the platform.

Shame zero stars isn’t an option
Shame zero stars isn’t an option, been desperately waiting to cancel my membership for months as they wouldn’t let me turn off the auto renewal until a month before. The second I got my renewal reminder I called to cancel and they won’t provide any written confirmation it’s been done! Don’t trust them one bit, used to be brilliant when I joined but a complete waste of time and money these days. Wouldn’t recommend them to traders or customers anymore. I really hope everyone leaves in droves and I know plenty of people that are. Recording all phone calls and fully expecting to have to report them if they don’t action this cancellation.
