I would genuinely recommend Keith to anyone looking for a patient, empathetic and supportive driving instructor. From the very beginning he made me feel comfortable and at ease, more like learning with a friend than someone intimidating. He always checked in on how I was feeling and asked about my confidence, which helped me feel listened to and understood.

Keith consistently went above and beyond. He tried to fit in extra lessons when I needed them, recapped everything at the end of each session, and made a clear plan for what we would focus on next time. He always asked what I wanted to go back over, making the lessons feel personalised and centred around my needs.

Confidence was always something I struggled with, but as the lessons went on he helped me realise I was becoming a better and safer driver. I am now a much more confident and capable driver thanks to Keith, and I truly could not have done it without him.

I can’t rate Keith high enough as a driving instructor. My daughter had failed her test with other instructors multiple times but she passed first time with Keith. He then went on to get my second daughter first time through her test. He’s knowledgeable, kind and understanding. Learning to drive is hard and there were tears sometimes but Keith was patient and made sure that problem areas and areas of worry to my daughters were practiced and they both went into their tests confidently. Keith won’t put you forward for your test if he thinks you’re going to fail. It’s not about his success rate but about not having his students confidence knocked so badly by failing that it puts them off driving.
I can’t thank Keith enough for making my daughters go on to be confident safe drivers.

I booked Keith to teach my son to drive. Firstly he is reliable which is a real plus! He was super patient and took time to get to know my son. He gave really useful feedback but also involved me in how I could support some of his development. My son felt listened to and never felt under pressure or stupid when he took time to ‘get it’. The standard of teaching is really high, no cutting corners and no glossing over things offering value for money. Keith has loads of knowledge and shared this in really informative ways that my son was able to understand and retain. Keith is a great role model and made each lesson enjoyable. There was never a question that I was going to book Keith to also teach my daughter. She is now 3 lessons in and she counts down the days between lessons. I would highly recommend Keith and Chilli driving school.

I love keith, would rate higher if i could ! i’ve never felt more at ease compared to other instructors, i love the sarcasm as it doesn’t make me feel as worried, keith is one of the nicest people ive met, and i feel like im making the nicest bit of progress, thank you ! 🩷

We used Keith for our eldest son and he was fantastic, incredibly patient with clear, concise instructions which led to our boy passing first time.
For some reason we used someone else for our youngest son and the difference was stark !!!! Thankfully his instructor decided to quit so we reached out to Keith who managed to take him on, in the short period since using Keith the difference in his driving ability is incredible, and he absolutely loves his lessons and my son can see a huge difference as can I when we go out.
Would thoroughly recommend Keith

Keith is a very nice driving instructor. He put me at ease straightaway and made me feel comfortable behind the wheel.
I am now confident with driving safely and with confidence.
Keith chats to me whilst driving and his way of teaching and communication is 2nd to none, he's clear and precise and this has made me a better driver.
Keith has high expectations but this is to make you the best driver you can be.
Keith is great and I would 100% recommend him to anyone who is learning to drive.

I reached out to chilli driving school and booked block lessons for my daughter.
From the offset Keith was friendly and kind. My daughter always came home from lessons feeling like she’d learnt new things and quite quickly gained confidence to use her own car (with parents)
In a short space of time Keith enabled our daughter to drive safely, be confident and be aware of other road users.
Keith would recap from previous lessons and ask our daughter what she felt she needed more support/practice with.
We loved how he worked with her to ensure she was secure in all of these new skills when learning to drive - no pressure!!
It’s so important to find the right instructor when learning to drive, we hit the jackpot.

The tutor, Keith, is sarcastic and aggressive. He briefly tutored a family member but we ended up having to let him go as an instructor after several occasions of being sarcastic and aggressive during lessons. It seems Keith doesnt remember that we all start somewhere learning to drive, a dangerous and arrogant position for a ‘driving instructor’ to take.
Two examples of his behaviour are as follows: one in which he wrenched the steering wheel out of the student’s hands and forced them to turn down a side street without warning. He then told the student they had left their indicator on, and so ‘had to turn’. This was both a dangerous and childish way to remind someone about indicators. Further, when driving around an estate and the student was getting used to their road placement, he opened the passenger door with the car in motion to sarcastically tell the student that there was ‘plenty of room’. Again, this was dangerous and stupid. Outside of lessons, he often gave conflicting information and was inconsistent in when he could be booked. His purported ‘high first time pass rate’ is falsely inflated by him refusing to book certain students in for tests so that they dont affect his stats…Keith - if you aren’t confident about your students passing then you need to take a look at yourself and your teaching, no?
I cannot speak for the rest of the school, but Keith is a horrible instructor and I would NOT recommend him, ever.
