Amazing service from start to finish. Kept informed of order progress and delivery details. All 5 of the trees I order arrived on time and in good condition. Just to top that I have also been contacted from them asking if I need any information on the products I purchased. Thanks Gemma I just might take you up on that.

I received a Cherry tree that was a very odd shape and not in good condition. I emailed them and got a very rude reply. I then e mailed them again asking for a refund but got no reply. It looks like we will have to write this off to bad experience but I would never use them again or recommend them. This company needs a better customer service and teach them how to treat and write to customers.

Firstly I received the wrong items and they were more or less dead anyway. The phone numbers say number not recognised. I sent 3 emails over a week with no response and then out of the blue I received the correct items. 2 out of 3 will hopefully survive. One of the gooseberries is just a stick with one dead leaf. I can honestly say this is the worst on line shopping experience I have ever had. Be warned .

This is an excellent firm to deal with. My order was only for one tree, but it arrived exactly on time and was very well packaged. All I had to do was pot it up and give it some water. It looks very healthy and I am sure it will thrive.
I was delighted to receive a follow-up e-mail from them, showing their excellent customer service.
I would definitely deal with them again and have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

I was kept informed of the delivery schedule and trees arrived on the designated day and time. The trees were well packed and therefore arrived in good condition. A member of the Chris Bowers team contacted a few days after me to check plants had arrived in good order and to offer advice, if required, on planting and care.

Ordered two trees. Only one turned up. No reply to emails asking for follow up action.

Ordered a specific Jubilee plum tree waited months for it to be delivered then another four years for the small stick to fruit . It turned out to be a greengage. After much correspondence they tried to blame me for incorrect pruning even though I had sent photos, and they were very curt in their responses . They eventually sent a replacement tree to the wrong address over 100 miles away. Since then they have just ignored my Emails. Awful customer service . buyers beware.

First time I have used this company and was very impressed with the service.The Cherry tree was delivered on time and very well packaged.Received a follow up email asking if everything was OK.Would highly recommend this company.

I would avoid this company at all cost. I
ordered a Peach tree online on the 30th Aug. Delivery was expected on Saturday 6th of September. However, APC did not deliver the tree until the Tuesday, which turned in a brown paper bag with all available branch snapped. I contracted Chris Bowers via email as there is no contact by phone. Their response has been absolutely shocking, which I have copied below.

"We need a n image not a video which we can't view. Simple enough"

I've provided a video showing the state the tree turned up in and also a photo. To date I have not had a further response. Not even an apology despite asking for a replacement.

Looking at the other reviews here it seem they are notorious for send thr wrong plant and damaged stock and then customers are met with the same ride response. Have a look at the 1 star reviews. Im now wondering whether I have even been sent a Peach tree. Who knows.... don't let the website fool you. These are nothing but a bunch of cow boys. AVOID.

The asian pear tree arrived in good condition, looked healthy and was as described.
The followup email was appreciated and contained an offer of further advice which I took up and received a reply promptly.

Strawberries arrived promptly and were packaged really well. They were all very healthy plants and I’m very pleased with them. After purchase service was very good too.

The tree arrived well packaged after about 3 weeks and it was in a good healthy condition. A couple of weeks after planting, new shoots began to appear and three of the stems grew to about 20cm in length.
The tree is now well established and I am very happy thanks to Chris Bowers and Sons.

A great company to deal with! A good choice of quality plants and an excellent website enabling me to make the choice of what to buy. Price was good, delivery was first rate with careful packaging and a follow-up email was both unexpected and 'comforting'.

The follow up and care in answering questions I had is brilliant. The trees were packed really well and they were careful to organise to transport the trees when I would be available to receive them. The trees are now 6 months old and are growing really qell.

I bought 2 bare root cherry trees from Chris Bowers and Sons. I made an error in the order with the type of tree and the team at Chris Bowers were very helpful in changing the order. Trees were vey well packaged on arrival. They are now in their chosen spot, taken very well and looking forward to many years of lovely fresh cherries from my garden.
