Really know their stuff
In my role as associate for an organisation, I was forced to move from sole trader to either limited company or PAYE status. I was resentful and uncertain what to do. CK gave me good advice which really looked at my best interests. I decided on PAYE. CK handle my monthly payments efficiently. When there were teething problems they sorted them out fairly. Sarah in particular is a gem - really knows her stuff and is available personally by phone (rather than an anonymous call centre).

Professional and Quick - What's not to like?
The team have been brilliant. From onboarding which was straightforward to the time when I need to get a quick reply to a question relating to getting paid. All solved and all done professionally and quickly.

Not worth the stress
Issues with tax code not followed up as requested. Phones not answered on multiple occasions. Paid twice in one week resulting in less pay due to tax. Now looking for permanent work as CK are second umbrella company I worked with and am fed up with having to constantly raise issues with these setups despite paying for the service.

Recommended umbrella company…
I used Churchill as my umbrella company for 5 months for one assignment. They set me up in no time, received payments quickly & I had no issues. When I did have to email them I rec'd prompt replies. When it came time to leave (as I left my contract) I received my P45 via email within a day or so. I've used about 4 umbrella's in the past & always had issues but it was a good experience with Churchill. Recommended umbrella company.
