Lee from the payroll team is so rude
Lee from the payroll team is so rude. I was going through my payslips as I felt my take home was only 50% of what I am being paid even though my tax code is the standard 1257L. Instead of explaining things to me properly because clearly I am not an accountant, his voice and manner on the phone sounded like he just couldn’t be bothered. If things are not explained well, we as your customers feel you are robbing us of our money because we don’t understand this. Lee needs some training on customer care and customer service. He had no empathy and just spoke to you like he wanted to hang up even though I am asking questions about my own pay. Umbrella companies should feel approachable because we appoint you and are paying you to work with us and we do this out of choice, not because we have to. I feel disappointed and I will be choosing another company to work with in future.

I have had an excellent experience since joining with Churchill Knight as my umbrella company. Any questions were quickly answered (Charlie was my initial contact) and the join up was hassle free. Bonus that I get paid sooner than all my colleagues with other companies too! (Plus much lower fees!)
