Their website had an error and even…

Their website had an error and even though I had selected the 12.30 movie the 3pm movie got purchased. No big deal. I asked for them to swap it within 5 minutes of purchase, days before the movie. Easy. Then I noticed they refused to refund the first movie tickets and I was billed twice. Very disappointing.

Discrimination

What an absolutely horrific experience! My wife and I got a rare date night (we have two boys with disabilities) and we were set to watch the new Wicked movie. We had my service animal with us and the manager said that he growled at the server (he did not growl... I was petting him and he was telling me if my blood sugar was too high or low). The "manager" then came over to us, said if he growled again he'd call the police on us, he didn't even allow me to explain that is how my dog informs me if I'm too high or low.

We went out of the theater, where I tried to explain it to him and the other manger what was going on. The whole time my service animal is simply standing next to me.

The "manager" said my dog was being aggressive in front of the other manager and then when I called him out on it he said "I didn't say he was being aggressive" and I could tell the other manager was frustrated with him. He spoke over me, lied about what happened, and accused me of being aggressive as well. Then when I asked for his name he refused to tell me because he didn't think I deserved to know. This was the absolute worst experience!!

The manager was male, short, with bleached blond hair, his shirt untucked and was on a power trip. I wish I had his name so corporate can understand who is representing them and breaking the law by discriminating against people with disabilities.

Even the waitress came over, I explained to her what happened and she said she didn't think he was aggressive (although the manager said she said he was).

It was embarrassing for my wife, so we left. I have the privilege to stand up for those disabled and marginalized groups of people, many don't have that voice.

I'm leaving this review here so that someone from Cinapolis can respond sense he wouldn't give me his name and no one picks up the phone. My next move is to go to the BBB website and then call the county AG to report him and that business for discrimination.

The worst thing is that this is the only movie theatre close enough to us that we feel comfortable going to with our boys disability.

They also told us to get a refund through Fandango, but because the show already started, Fandango wouldn't give us a refund. I'm heart broken that they would treat people this way.
