The receptionist started the process with a wonderful welcoming attitude, booking the vehicle in with my commitments at the top of her list of importance

Brought my car in for service 1.5 hrs before my appointment time. Took a chance and the gentleman sent it in for service straight away. He was very welcoming and polite. Explained the findings at the end in layman’s terms as I’m not very well versed in car talk. He then told me what he will be doing next and will call me to arrange another date to take care of the other things with my car. He also threw in a complimentary clean. I didn’t catch his name but he was working at 8am on Saturday 28th March at the Colindale branch. Many thanks to him and to the team who worked on my car.

I had a wonderful experience at Citygate when I dropped my car for my MOT. All the staff were very polite and friendly. Made my experience waiting for my car very enjoyable. The Lady at the end of my visit was lovely she went above and beyond to make sure I was happen with the job. She even checked I was getting all the benefits for the care of my car that was offered to me. Thank you Citygate for your excellent customer service 😊.

I had an issue with one of my VW ID Buzzes (we have change nearly half our fleet to EV's), my first experience with Citygate Colindale was speaking with Tosana. She was very professional, friendly and very helpful. I provided her all the information required and she booked my vehicle in. I was updated regularly regarding repairs and any additional issues. Over time I sent move vehicles to Colindale site because they provide the best service. Pedro and Zubair are also very good and knowledgeable in solving minor key fob issues. Its a very big site and for these three to manage it, very impressive. When my engineer goes to collect vehicles she is greeted with smile, given a run down on what was done and the vehicles when returned have not further issues.
They provide very good customer service, even when there systems went down, I am sure that despite all the calls and possible delays to vehicle being complete, they all remain calm and pleasant the whole time. Brilliant team
If the company does a reward scheme I highly recommend all three should received some kind of commendation.

Took my car in for an oil service and was greeted by Tosana who was brilliant from start to finish. She kept me informed all along the way by phone etc. I needed my car back fairly quickly as I had to go to work. She got all the work done and even hurried up the valeters to get me on my way quickly. It started to rain heavily and she got the umbrella out and we both kept dry getting to my car. Can't thank her enough and she is a credit to you

Tosana in particular helped me out. Despite a IT error disrupting bookings, Tosana ensured that my car was serviced within a few hours. She also promised to call me back once their systems were back up and running (as there was further work my car needed) and she did. She is friendly and welcoming at VW! Thank you :)

I was due for a service and MOT and used the online portal to book my car in for a routine service. However, for some reason, I wasn’t able to book the MOT online at the same time.

When I dropped the car off, Pedro looked after me and was kind enough to arrange the MOT for the same day. It was clearly a busy day, and although VW informed me quite late that the work was complete, I was very pleased that both the service and MOT were finished that day.

Pedro was extremely helpful throughout. The car was washed and ready for collection, and due to the delay, he kindly offered a £60 discount on the work. Overall, great customer service from Pedro, which I really appreciated.

AVOID AVOID AVOID
I purchased a brand new van from this dealer 11/2024. Recently started experiencing some issues with the van displaying error messages and breaking down due to low 12V battery. This van was repaired by VW CITYGATE Collingdale service centre on 27/02/2025 replacing the gateway module and alternator, but unfortunately when collecting the van the same message ERROR was still displaying on the dash when confronting service manager JUDD BRINDLEY regarding this his comments/ behaviour were unprofessional, unacceptable and unreasonable, this was contradicted by the VW breakdown engineer that come out when the van failed to start on the 17/03/2025, he was shocked that a main dealer returned the van with the ERROR still displaying. I have emails to support all the repairs and communications. I am totally disappointed with this dealership who have failed to investigate diagnose and repair correctly there is still an underline issue which they have failed to diagnose. I have been using VW vans / this dealership for the last 10/15 years but due to the incompetence and substandard workmanship i have lost confidence in the high standards of service/ repairs that VW offer their clients. The whole experience has been disappointing stressful time wasting and impacting my business. What is the point of spending 37K if you can’t get the after sales service and can not fulfill their 3 year manufactures warranty. They are good at selling vans but unfortunately their after sales service is woeful!! AFTER CONSTANTLY BREAKING DOWN IN THE LAST 2 MONTHS IN JAN 2026 JCB VW DEALERSHIP IN CRAWLEY RH11 8DH CARRIED OUT DIAGNOSTICS AND REPLACED THE BATTERY I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS VW DEALERSHIP FOR COMMERCIAL CLIENTAL EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND GREAT TECHNICIANS WITHOUT WAITING WEEKS FOR APPOINTMENTS.
