Matt-Cyrille Simonet - A Five Star Guide in Southern France
Matt-Cyrille Simonet, currently with CityPals (citypals.com), was my guide in the south of France during much of the month of April 2019. He is an excellent guide and I give him the highest possible recommendation. Matt is warm, friendly, communicative, reliable, and accommodating. He is multilingual, fluent in English (my language), Italian, and, of course, French. He is also multitalented, being not only a fantastic guide, but an accomplished chef and, in my case, a very good French teacher. Most importantly, Matt has comprehensive knowledge of the south of France, including Nice, where I was based, and the intricacies of each of the cities I visited, which include Monaco, Cannes, St. Paul de Vence, Antibes, Marseilles, and several others. Thanks to Matt, I felt like a true insider during my entire trip. So if you plan on a visit to Provence, do yourself a favor and hire Matt as your City Pal. You will gain insights to the region that many other tourists are certain to miss. And as a bonus, you will likely end up making a lifelong friend.
