Bought the MB32 INTERNAL REPAIR CLAMP 43MM-51MM which from the pictures was just what I wanted. But what was in the packet is totally different without the notches to move it along so had to take the whole exhaust system off to get it in. Then when tightening it the bolt sheared before the metal expanded to seal the gaps. Utterly useless (Chinese?) redesign of what looked originally like a good part.
Bought a sack barrow through their Amazon shop front. Said free delivery. However, they contacted me and asked for an extra £50 as my postcode was not free delivery. They directed me to some fine print in their general terms and conditions which said they might charge extra for certain areas. However, this is nonsense. My delivery address was visible when Clampco/cheapbargaintools accepted the contract to supply and took my money. I have also made a report to the government website for reporting rip off delivery companies that take the sale and then demand extra payment. I tried to leave feedback on Amazon, but the company challenged that feed back because it referred to their service and not the suitability or condition of the item. Trying to silence a review is pretty pointless as there are so many verified review sites now that it would be impossible to keep poor practice under wraps in the hope of finding more unsuspecting customers.
