Avoid working here

At first I thought the company was great. My job was good flexible working days and hours, no weekends. The wage was good at £13.55 which is higher than other cleaning companies pay. They give good training at the start. There is a good holiday and pension scheme.
However, do not ever get sick when working for these, even if the place you are working at has a high risk group, they will sack you without any warning like you are trash, no matter how good a worker you are. They don’t even ask how you are doing and how they can support you back into work. They claim that you can only have up to 3 days of absence whilst on their 12 week trial, but it does not say this anywhere on the contract or in the booklet they give you. I have now been left with no income and it could not have come at a worse time as I have to pay for both my cat’s surgery. This company claim to be best and fair but as soon as you are in the door you will see their true colours. Some management are good and I have praised them, but some are not and have very condescending attitudes thinking they are above everyone else. They are strict with uniform but management can wear whatever they want and come in checking on you and ordering you around as if you are a child. No matter how good of a job you think you have done, they will find something you have apparently missed. They also don’t collect the bag of dirty cloths to be washed so we were left with no cloths to use. Management were also late getting to us with keys which went into our cleaning time, but we were the ones told off. One rule for them and another for everyone else. I recommended this company at first but I definitely do not now, they are in fact now the worst I have worked for ever. Avoid.
