Everything was a positive about this company - the guys doing the hard graft were professional, punctual, efficient and pleasant. Not a single thing was damaged. Other staff were helpful and easy to deal with too. Pricing was competitive and the whole thing went - as you would hope - like clockwork! Would not hesitate to recommend Clockwork if moving house.

The team were amazing from beginning to end. Able to accommodate a relatively late booking, arrived very promptly on the day and said ‘you can sit back and relax and we’ll sort this’. Clockwork packed my goods and then stored them for 3 years. I was worried about the condition they might be in when I finally collected them. My goods were in exactly the same conditon they were in when Clockwork packed them.

We’ve worked with Clockworks Storage for two years now and use them for removals as well as year‑round storage of our stock. They’ve been consistently excellent throughout.
The team are a real pleasure to deal with friendly, reliable, and incredibly easy to organise with. Communication is clear, tasks are handled efficiently, and everything is completed exactly as agreed, which makes a huge difference when coordinating moves and managing ongoing storage.

I get no reply from them by email they only respond to these reviews ….. 2 weeks now have passed and nothing so I am writing as a matter of urgency.

I understand that the auction of my goods is proceeding today. I can see that some items that were placed into Clockwork’s custody are now appearing in the auction listings.

However, despite repeated written requests, I still have not been provided with:

a full itemised list of all goods transferred to the auctioneer,

a reconciliation showing which items were taken to auction and which remain in Clockwork’s custody, or

an explanation for the numerous identifiable items that remain missing from all valuation and auction documentation.

This is not a minor administrative issue. Clockwork, as bailee, is under a clear duty to properly account for goods entrusted into paid storage, particularly when exercising a lien and power of sale.
To be absolutely clear:

I am not disputing Clockwork’s contractual right to sell goods following non-payment.

I am disputing the fact that the auction is proceeding without full transparency, without a complete inventory, and with significant quantities of property unaccounted for.

At this point:

I can see some of my items listed for sale,

I cannot see many other high-value household and personal items that were placed into storage, and

I have no documentation confirming whether those items were ever transferred to the auctioneer, retained by Clockwork, or otherwise removed from custody.

Proceeding with the auction today without first resolving these discrepancies is inappropriate and risks causing irreversible loss before proper accounting has taken place.

I therefore formally require, without further delay:

Immediate written confirmation of all items transferred to the auctioneer, including lot numbers and estimated values.

Written confirmation of all items remaining in Clockwork’s custody.

A clear explanation for any items that do not appear in either category.

This email is sent to ensure there is a clear written record that Clockwork has been placed on notice of unresolved accounting failures before the auction concludes.

I expect an urgent response today.

Disappointing service from Clockwork when moving from larger home to smaller home out of town. Really disappointed. They were not the cheapest quote. The removals chaps were helpful and very polite but a number of things would lead me to not recommending Clockwork. Broken/dead house plants, TV broken, chair had been stood on and seat broken. All clothes were placed in boxes with no hanging rails so all our clothes extremely crumpled. There was no clear marking on boxes e.g. everyone used a different naming system - boxes named with room they came from, or room they were going into or just made up e.g. sewing room! This is not the team's fault, more lack of training. We paid for 2 sets of insurance packing damage and damage in transit the cover is very poor - e.g. price of a second hand TV suggested payout (probably cost the insurance company more to look for the cheapest TV they could find than they paid us). Also be very careful about move in times, we were delayed due to solicitors which cost us an additional £500 best to err on side of caution and agree later afternoon time so you don't have an additional bill.

Guys turned up promptly. Were excellent in getting everything packed away on van and were so good with getting all the bits and pieces which we hadn't manage to get away. Also at other end all boxes/packing boxes were put away and job finished promptly. Absolutely great job. Would definitely recommend.

Did the job as asked. One of the things during my renovations that went right.

We had an office move to do at very short notice. Quote received within 24 hrs of site visit and crates delivered within the week. On the day itself there were plenty of bodies to help out and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Polite and helpful, making it as stress free and smooth as possible. Unloaded promptly and systematically at our new premises.

From getting the quote to delivering the last box Clockwork did what they said they would.
Timely efficient & friendly

It took from 9 am to 7pm for a removal all our boxes were packed prior. Men were unfit for the job

On the moving day the guys turned up on time and were very polite and helpful. I was worried as it was pouring with rain, but they put big rubber mats down and were careful not to get the carpets dirty. They took the king-size bed apart and reassembled it for us. Moving things to where we wanted them was no trouble to them. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that I felt there could have been a bit more communication from the office, ie a text or email the night before to confirm, and check everything was ready. They obviously move people all the time but I hadn't heard anything from them since I booked a couple of weeks earlier and was nervous. There was also no follow-up afterwards. Overall though I would definitely recommend them and would use them again.

Great service

Staff were on time and helpful and pleasant.......took the stress out of moving and had a good sense of humour too! Nothing was damaged as they were careful with my belongings.
