Just finished my finance of 3 years for a vehicle, have been a pleasure to deal with, helped with the only problem I had which was payment date change due to a job change.
Have used them for over 10 years for my insurance premiums, again, no bother at all.
Highly recommend and would use again for car finance.

EXTORTIONATE INTEREST RATE and DISCRIMINATION
EXTORTIONATE INTEREST RATE EVEN THOUGH I PAID MY LAST VEHICLE OFF WITH YOU 4 YEARS EARLY, I DESERVED BETTER. MY WIFE IS A NURSE AND OUR CREDIT RATING IS A1, WE LIVE IN A £100,000 + HOUSE ALL PAID FOR, NO MORTGAGE. THE CAR WAS £7800, WE PAID £1250 DEPOSIT WHICH LEFT £6550, WITH INTEREST WE ARE PAYING OVER £13,000. I WAS TOLD I HAD TO PAY A HIGHER RATE OF INTEREST BECAUSE OF MY AGE! (I believe that to be DISCRIMINATION. Was supposed to get the car delivered today 3rd July, after all the paperwork was finalised and signed. The owner of the garage has just called me and told me he won't deliver the car unless I pay a further £260 admin fee to Close brothers. PLEASE, FOLKS, DO NOT USE THIS FINANCE COMPANY, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR EYES OUT, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Close Brothers AVOID.
Close Brothers supplied the car under the finance agreement, yet I have repeatedly been pushed back toward the dealer and broker.
The RAC declared the vehicle dangerous and not roadworthy, and I have been without a usable car since 10 June. The dealer has provided no firm repair or return date.
Some staff have tried to help, but repeated chasers are not a solution. Close Brothers ultimately supplied the vehicle and now needs to take control and resolve this properly.

Awful company who have conned us for the last 4 years charging a fortune to lease tills we could have got with 2 payments. No flexibilty. Zero customer service. If you do not pay expect a court date and bailiffs they will not entertain anything else

Close brother finance will never gonna help you
I bought a car through Close brother finance and the car dealer gave me a broken car which I fight many months with him to repair the car which he repaired only 20% of many other things which were broken and I could not just give the car back because I was needed a car but the car finance Close brother didn't help me with nothing at the end they just blame me that I broke the car so be very very careful with the dealer and with Close brother finance

Very disappointed
Very disappointed, tried to login for over 2 weeks with my correct details to change my bank details but kept getting a message to say incorrect details. My password and memorable information were 💯 correct. Asked to provide email to reset details but after over 20 attempts at doing this , never received any Email, again correct Email was given . I then Emailed mailed and rang well over 30 times with no reply ,my spam box checked in Email. Now have been charged an extra £25 because of a missed payment. Absolutely disgusting service . Quick enough to contact me to charge me £25

Just changed my car with a small amount of finance to pay which the main dealer who i bought new car from paid off on the 18th June by BACS yet my account is still not closed made 2 phone calls with no help from them i have e mailed and still no reply as my next payment is still showing to be due in a few days i have cancelled D/D payment .I have proof the money was paid on the 18th and sent this to them and still no response. So as of the 18th i was not the registerd keeper and no longer own the car yet on the 19th they sent a letter for £25 because of a number plate change back to the original one which was on agreement the main dealer sorted all the paper work and said they are trying to make up for lost interest for paying off early. Update 25/6/2026 in reply to your message i did phone twice and nobody could help .I have e mailed you with proof of payment and also messaged on my account and neither has had a response
