We spent a week in Abbots Bromley with our German Shepherd dog, Maggie. Never having been to the area before we called in at The Coach and Horses at the end of a dog walk. My wife, Maggie and I were made more than welcome and we were so impressed that we called In for the next 3 days after the daily walk. We were made more than welcome on each occasion and on the day before our departure we called in again with Maggie but on this occasion we decided to order a meal which I can only describe as excellent. My wife and I ordered a starter and main course each and Maggie was treated to bowl of beef from the owner which she thoroughly enjoyed. I can only describe the service, staff and food as exceptional. We have booked to return next year and the Coach and Horses will definitely be a major part of the holiday. The owner, atmosphere, food and staff were exceptional. Thank you very much, we are looking forward to next year already.

Great venue and great food !
Myself and three others attended the venue on Friday 3rd December this year. We had previously booked our table. On arrival we were directed to the table and immediately felt comfortable in the surroundings. We had plenty of space around us making us feel relaxed in the current climate. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We all had different choices and we all commented on how good it was. A brilliant venue with exceptional service, making for a really nice, relaxing evening. We will definitely be re- visiting.

Glad we found this pub
Called in, purely because we turned left instead of right! On our way from Lincoln to Shrewsbury to visit family. Dogs and myself dying for a w..
Brilliant pub. Took 3 dogs in and ordered a snack and couple of drinks. Next thing - a plastic carton full of chopped up ham came out for the dogs! The lady had even added some water to it in case they were thirsty. Our food was delicious and the dogs said they would give them 5 stars as well!
