Quirky door knocker
Sadly the beautiful door knocker didn’t fit my new door, after contacting Lizzie the return process was very easy and a refund is due in few days.

We have noticed some parcels have been taking longer due to the Coronavirus outbreak. I'm afraid once a parcel has been dispatched to a courier, the delivery timescale is out of our control. Usually we expect parcels to be delivered within 3-5 working days and on this occasion, I'm sorry Hermes let us down.

Really late and slow on delivery which…
Really late and slow on delivery which wasn’t really the problem it was the fact that they just didn’t keep you updated especially when they were past their already extended delivery (due to Covid). They made everything sound so wonderful and easy as part of their communication package but failed to keep to that promise. When I chased I did get a response within their timescale but then had to chase again when my parcel still hadn’t arrived. Happy with the item when it did arrive.

Customer service and satisfaction is incredibly important to us as a small business, ensuring we get things right is why up until now we have only received 5 star reviews from our customers. This is something that we pride ourselves on.
As we outlined in our email exchange, the light you ordered was dispatched directly from the manufacturer and at the time of purchase they were running to a dispatch time of 10-12 working days, due to a reduced workforce from Coronavirus. Unfortunately, this time scale is out of our control and a result of the challenging environment that we find ourselves in. This delivery timescale was outlined on our COVID-19 website page, as well as on our Delivery Information website page prior to your order being placed. When you emailed us to enquire about the delivery date (on the 7th working day) we responded within 10 minutes confirming this dispatch timescale.
We also communicate in our post purchase email that you were automatically sent, that once an order has been dispatched you will receive an email from us stating this. As your order was dispatched directly from the manufacturer on this occasion, you will also have received an email from them of the light and the courier notifying you of its dispatch.
I am sorry that you feel disappointed with our service and that you had to wait longer than average for your light to arrive. Our usual delivery timescale for any non-lighting and furniture deliveries is 3-5 working days. Overall I am pleased that you are happy with the quality of the product received.
